Hey, been thinking about this now for a while about utilizing Amazon to put work up. Does anyone know the process from start to finish on selling ebooks on amazon? Ie got the book/short story finished whats next? Also as an aside, what is the smallest ebook/story you have seen on Amazon or such?
Just go to Amazon KDP. It is easy to follow their steps. You might first get Smashwords free style guide for how to format your document for conversion.
Cool, I was thinking of the 10-15K mark, You know when inspiration hits for a short story and it's finished it would be a nice place to put it up. But didn't want to short change ppl. Only be charging the minimum (at First hahaha)
Thanks just downloaded it, i think. It says they are a publisher of ebooks. Do you have to go with them before making contact with amazon or can you join and upload straight to amazon?
You can go straight to Amazon. If you want to go Kindle Select, that's the way to go, and there is no reason not to join Kindle Select if you are only publishing on Amazon.
