Grammar Should commas come in pairs?

    Thanks McKK i think you've summed it up quite well (although i dont think it a pointless question). Were i to adopt such a technique it would be impossible to ALWAYS pair a comma - I would be looking to employ it where possible and appropriate. It is a judgement call, and I think that some people have been under the impression I am asking about the rules of English; perhaps that is why they are telling me to go away and read a book instead of sharing their thoughts politely

    @Mamma lol I can't help but wonder the point of your last post - truth be told it does seem as if you thought i was under the impression commas have to come in pairs to be considered 'correct' usage - was that the case?
