    MS Word 2000 booklet

Discussion in 'Writing Software and Hardware' started by flowerpot, Nov 13, 2010.

does anybody know how to set-up Ms Word 2000 for publishing a booklet?

there are links all over for the 2007 word version, but not Word 2000.
    Thanks:)

I don't doubt you can do it, but Microsoft Publisher is a better choice for that kind of layout work.

Yeah, publisher is a good pick.

If you don't have publisher, Scribus is a decent free alternative.

i've done it easily enough without any additional software... just takes common sense, some margin settings and a bit of layout work...

HAH! Booklet is quite a specific layout, which edge are you binding on? Setting up your own alternating margins is a pain in the neck. Steerpike is right, Scribus for layout. Do your writing in something that can check spelling, last I saw Scribus, it didn't do spellcheck, nor did it plan to. Then dump the text into your desktop publishing package and have fun.
