My name is Tim. Nice to meet you all. I have had a few stories published, but all at e-zines that didn't pay. I write as a hobby, merely to fill the odd minutes of the day. I really enjoy it, however, and I find that those "odd minutes" are the best part of the week. This place is pretty green.
I actually pulled out my dictionairy, excited by a new word. Half-way through the search, it hit me. "Python" being, of course, Monty Python. I'm such a dope. Thanks for the welcome. We only do bigtalk here, there's a small talk area situated just outside the site where indulgers huddle against the icy winds of isolation. Feel free to look around at all the posts by my and tell me how dazzlingly witty and charming I am (even if it requires that you skip your medication to tell a lie that big).

Welcome to the forums, Tim (I'll be one of some, if that's ok). So, are you implying there are places that even pay people for written work? Wotta concept! I myself prefer odd minutes. They are much more entertaining than plain grey minutes. May you find many such moments and share them,and we'll do our best to offer as much oddity as you can handle. Again, welcome, and have fun! This place is way too active! Please, all of you, slow down by at least three! In most forums I join, I have no problem keeping up by signing in once or twice a day and using the "new posts" function. Here, though, I have pages of "new posts".
