It seems from this thread that isn't very strange. And it does make sense why a lot of people would like it.
Ever since I found out about the pronunciation quirk for Arkansas, I've taken to applying it to the last syllable of every other USA state. Especially fun when USians are around. Kentuckaw is my favourite.
-the smells of kerosine and jet fuel. -the taste of airplane food and coffee (and I know they're horrible!) -squeezing fake grapes (you know, those decorative grapes, it's like a stress toy)
I love looking up medical procedures and names on Wikipedia. I'm no doctor, will never be one but I just like looking up the type of stuff that profession does. I love watching list videos on YouTube, especially those detailing creepy/nightmarish stories. I know it creeps me out and keeps me up at night, but I don't care! Besides, I think I've gotten used to them.
Likewise, i really like the smell of Paint and thinners, my dad was apprenticed as a Painter/Decorator when he was younger and moved into the spray painting industry, so we tend to have tins of the paint and bottles of thinners in the garage, my dad and i are the only ones who can handle the fumes.
I like converting numbers between different bases (decimal, hexadecimal, binary), doing sums with them and converting them back. I really genuinely do. It's relaxing.
I watch ISIS execution videos. Helps me remember that I'm not having a bad day. Also, some of them are pretty imaginative. I'll forgo posting links.
Not sure if I need to be calling the FBI... or their equivalent from your country. This is most disturbing.
You should watch this documentary called Only the Dead. Not only to remind yourself to put things into perspective but it's also a pretty honest depiction of what happened in Iraq after the invasion.
