    STEAK! (The fuudz topic)

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Crazy Ivan, Aug 5, 2007.

I love steak. Big and medium rare and warm and spiced up with paprika butter...best dinner ever. =;D
I say this because I just got served a heaping helping of it for dinner last night. Now I want to know: What kind of fuudz duz YOU like? What nationality? (Italian food ftw!) What style? Junk food, hamburgers and hot dogs, Chinese, Mexican, fine meat, spaghetti...what are your ideal breakfasts, lunches, dinners? Your least ideal?

    DISCUSS!

Oh, man, this could be a lonnnng thread!

There aren't many foods I won't eat, although most of them involve internal organs rather than muscle meat.

But a thick, rare, tender, juicy grilled steak sounds about perfect just now; except it's only lunchtime here. and I am more ready for brunch food. I wish I had the makings for Eggs Benedict.

    Shweeet food.

Being semi-vegetarian, steak is pretty much out the window, unless someone else gets it for me. =P (See, this family doesn't buy meat, but if they're "given" it, they'll gladly indulge themselves). How does that make sense? I don't know. They just do it.

As far as my favorite food goes, it's probably Italian or Mandarin.

    Pizza makes me happy.

Ideal foods? Whatever I'm yearnin' for pretty much. As a side note, I shouldn't say yearnin ever again..

Italian is definitely the best nationality. Pasta, pesto sauce, garlic bread, pizza, calzones.....yummmmm. *drools*

EDIT: Wait a second, I just realized something: I've never actually salivated when presented with food, or the prospect of it. Has anyone ever actually done this?

Salivated? No.. I don't believe so. I don't think I love food that much.

By the way, what's paprika butter? =P Is it.. paprika smushed with butter? That sounds grosser than anticipated..

I like Italian, but there is so much more.

German Sauerbraten, many sausage meals, beef Rouladen, Spaetzel, Mmmmmmm.

Southwestern US/Mexican foods like fajitas, enchiladas, tamales, Arroz con Pollo, chicken with chocolate pepper sauce. and many more.

    All the Asian cuisines, too.

I cannot pick out one cuisine that rules over all.

How dare you betray your taste buds of a certain food just because of the time. Most disappointing, most disappointing indeed. It's 9am (I've yet to sleep) and I would love a steak right about now. Anything to eat for that matter.

I take that back... there was some really sickening chicken burrito I made last night. Some microwave thing, but god, it smelled awful. I hate that brand now.

Edit: This thread is severely beginning to distress my empty stomach.

Sushi. I am always in the mood for sushi.

There used to be this awesome sushi place in Pinellas Park. They always had live entertainment, and most of the staff was people I went to high school with. Oh god, I used to go there three or four times a week. Awesome sushi. They closed in January, though. :(

I make a decent pizza, but I don't usually do it in the summer. Don't like heating my oven to 550F in this weather!

I like pizza that isn't drowning in sauce. I mostly make pepperoni and mushroom pizza when I'm in a hurry, but I also like anchovy pizza, or a prosciutto pizza with a white lemon and parmesan cream sauce, or a shrimp pizza with the same white sauce and capers.

    Chocolate is the best.:D

As for steak, it has to be with mushrooms.

Pizza has to be home made and sadly for me without cheese (lactose intollerant) and it tastes even better the next morning for breakfast.

Home made chicken lasagne is good the next day too. But sadly, not for me any more.

And home made cheesecake that clogs the arteries at a glance. *sigh.......drool*

Wow... I couldn't live without milk. I can destroy a gallon pretty fast. It makes me believe my bones are of abnormal tenacity. Cheescake

Don't they have pills that make foods with lactose more readily digestible?

I have no idea about that. I'm eating healthier for it any way. I just miss some things, especially when I get reminded. I could kill some cheescake right now.

Do they do one for citrus intolerance too? I could still kill a lemon cheesecake.
(Thanks for that but I'll stick with the drug free option - I'm not one for popping pills:()

Well, it's not narcotic or anything. If nothing else, do it for the cheesecake.

Whoa... intolerant to citric acid too? I've never even heard of that, nor a pill treating it either. We need to discover a vaccine so everyone can has cheesecake. :(

I know sweetie and thank you but it's a non starter any way.

Oh and steak has to have mustard too. And can I have sprouts please. And a glass of Martini.

Oh, this wasn't a request service.

    Yikes!

I thought you were treating us all.
