    Star Wars first draft

    Discussion in 'Entertainment' started by Steerpike, Oct 31, 2016.

    Star Wars fans may get a kick out of this. I've only glanced through it - looks like Luke is a General. Annikin is in it (not Luke's father or Leia's, and he isn't Vader, who is also in it). Leia's father is a King of some kind. That's about all I've gleaned from a quick scan. Bears little to no resemblance to the original Star Wars film.

    A dedicated fan MUST make this, even with Legos, I don't care. This galaxy will fly apart if it's not made.

    tl;dr

    I do know that Star Wars and The Dark Crystal share roots of genesis as regards parts of the early drafts of Star Wars and some of the key players in the creation of both films. In early drafts of the Star Wars the Force was to emanate from a large, dark crystal on the Sith planet of Alderaan. The Sith have all the fragments except one, which is in the hands of the ancient Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi.

    Jedi = Mystics
    Sith Lords = Skeksis.

    That is interesting. Now a fan will have to merge the two films or our galaxy will fly apart.

    There's actually a graphic novel version of this. I picked it up at the library a while back, cringed a bit, but continued reading out of some twisted sort of curiosity...

    It was... [cough] interesting...
