I go by dt around here but my name is Adam. I'm sort of a traveler, free thinker, activist, musician, writer, nerd hybrid thing. I've been using this particular forum on and off since '08. I started role playing in the old AOL 2.0 chat rooms waaay back in the day. I dunno what else. Pretty much an open book type of person.
whoa...your a vetran then. I go by exzalia or Ex for short, I write fantasy, watch anime, draw comics and make rpg's for fun. I only joined a year ago and only rp'd for that time. I think I'm pretty good at it, most of the friends I have on this site have been in my games and I in theirs.
Haha yeah I guess I am. Every moderator for this forum has been in my rps at some point, except [MENTION=10381]losthawken[/MENTION] of course but he is newer. I think I've only seen one person from the old crew around since I've returned. I'm a pretty big anime fan as well. Terrible at drawing, but I have a friend who is a full on super artist. He does sculpting and charcoal, bunch of cool stuff.
I came back probably a week ago. I'm involved the Dragons rp and I have just finished working on Starfall, which I will be GM of.
Its rather difficult to sum up haha. I suppose aliens and psychics and stuff. I don't really plan a lot out story wise in my role plays. I have a definite idea of where it starts and a really vague idea of where it ends. I like the players to be able to decide the course of most of what happens and I can't really do that until the game starts. Whats yours about?
it's a lot to cover, before you came I completeed two rpg's Tales of exzalia well of darkness/ then it's sequal tales of exzalia death of magic, and got half way through the third one tales of exzalia deing worlds. My third rp is sort of a spin off series of the previous 3 although the events in those ones subtly effect this one. The basic idea is this. TOE 1 to 3 (Tales of exzalia) is about a world called exzalia with is the source of this mystical energy called eather which is what powers humanities ability to cast spells and makes up all of reality. It was a high fantasy epic with Sirens vampires, Fallen divines you name it the basic story was that the eather that kept their world running was being drianed. This new one I'm making will take place on the same world but on a different Continent and with a different story, I'm still making everything up but basically the other games were very Jrr tolkenish. I wanted to try something new, so I'm basing this new rp on a more exotic myths. A mix of middle eastern, Hindu, mythology to create my own original fantasy world called Tales of Ven Shara which is a huge destert world with Sphinx's and jennies, and Egyptian kings and Pyramids! It's a title in progress but if I play my cards right I hope to surpass my own previous rp's. gah I'm getting existed just thinking about it!
Sounds pretty exciting. Hindu mythology is completely fascinating and a pretty excellent choice for subject matter. World building of any sort is always my favorite part of the creative process. Everyone likes to be God for a bit right?
I'm addicted to it, I spend much of my time world building, got a time line and everything. Have you seen attack on titen?

She was drafted and tested for the Psyon Unit, but was rejected after her father found out and put his foot down in an attempt to keep her safe at home.
