What Genre would this be?

In taking a look at the various genres that are highlighted on the forums here like children, mystery, western, romance, general fiction, science fiction, fantasy, etc... I am trying to figure out what genre does the book I'm working on fit in.

It is the modern world today but supernatural with werewolves, vampires, fae and more. It isn't exactly horror or thriller, not quite science fiction.

I am thinking it fits more into fantasy, since there is magic even if it is a modern day setting.

 

That would be fantasy, specifically the subgenre known as urban fantasy.

 

Yep. There are tons of this kind of thing in the fantasy section.

 

Yeah, definitely Urban Fantasy (which is really hot right now, so go for it).

Sounds like fantasy to me. If it were [published, I would look for it in the fantasy section.
