    Storyboard

Discussion in 'Plot Development' started by Baron Frosti, Nov 13, 2016.

I thought I'd share a pic of my new storyboard! This is a 4x3 metallic bulletin board. Using masking tape, I created a grid. Each of the boxes is the size of an index card. I'm writing out my scenes and story components and placing them on the board to get a better feeling for flow. In this way, I can move things around as needed. Once I get the feel I like, I'll number the cards and use them to create my outline. Yes, I bought green masking tape to match my wall. Ha ha! Image attached below.

Awesome, this is a very useful technique that a lot screenwriters use. Are you working on a screenplay or a novel?

You know, they do have writing apps that do that without all the cork board and thumb tacks.:)
And I thought I was stubborn when it comes to adopting technology.:p

Ha ha! Yeah. I could do this digitally. But I enjoy the tactile aspect.
