    Character in a pilot

Discussion in 'Character Development' started by Mikcheck, Aug 26, 2016.

    Hello guys.

How much character development you do or you think it's done before writing the pilot. Of course that if you have many characters, you should know how they interact with each other (i think Modern Family writers spent a month working on that) but do you know all about your character traits and flaws when you're writing the pilot or gradually?

    Thanks.

Your characters should have traits and flaws to start with so that you can show how they grow and change over the course of the story.

    Thank you for your reply.

I think i didn't choose the right words. I mean know everything about your character when you write the pilot.
