Torana looked around for a lift or stairwell, for she could not swim and the water was deep. "This is not the shopping mall!" she replied in haste. Choking on a mouthfull of sand, she stood up and pointed towards the unforgiving briney sea. Cogito saw nothing but crashing waves, but kicked off his sandals and plunged into the surf. To everyones surprise, Torana came rushing out from among the coconut trees and dived into the ocean after it. She was under the water for what seemed like an eternity. Torana looked around for a lift or stairwell, for she could not swim and the water was deep. "This is not the shopping mall!" she replied in haste. Coral shot a frightened glance at banzai, who immediately dived into the water to try and rescue the drowning woman. Coral stood nervously at the shore and awaited the outcome. Cogito clambered over the surf-drenched rocks carrying a sack filled with colorful shells. Seeing the distraught Coral peering anxiously toward the churning waves, he called out, "Hey there! Is everything okay?" Coral spun around so quickly that she lost her balance and fell face first into the sand. Choking on a mouthfull of sand, she stood up and pointed towards the unforgiving briney sea. Cogito saw nothing but crashing waves, but kicked off his sandals and plunged into the surf. Several yards out, he surfaced with a gasp and searched frantically for any sign of a swimmer in distress. Little did he know that Banzai had allready began swimming back to the beach, struggling under the weight of Torana. Cogito started to panic and got pounded by a king wave. He took a deep breath, and forced himself to relax as the wave crested around him. As it subsided, he felt the sand of the shallows under his feet, and splashed back to the trio on the beach. Gently laying torana down on the sand, Cogito prepared to begin cpr. " dont even think about it!", came a weak voice from beneath him. Cogito laughed with relief and sat back heavily on the wet sand. With only two left it was going to be a battle to see who was going to get the last drinks. Cogito raked back the seaweed over the fire pit. And Hulls raven sung his most popular song took a drink of beer and sung his latest the others listened. And the the beers remained chilled in the chill box of ice. They all sat quietly as Hulls Raven sang his song and guzzled down the beers which were now runing awfully low. With only two left it was going to be a battle to see who was going to get the last drinks. Cogito raked back the seaweed over the fire pit. "Feeding time!" he announced as he passed around plastic plates heaped with lobster, steamed clams, and roasted corn. Hulls Raven took his lobster and the final beer and looked up towards the stars. Capturing a pair of sea turtles, they tied them to the raft and awaited the sight of holy sand.
