How do the staff there pronouce it? I'm sure the way its founders pronounce it would have trickled down to them somehow. Go call them right now and see. Betcha they say "Thank you for calling Prye-mark,..."
Unless they've outsourced their call center, in which case you could possibly call 5 times and get 5 different pronunciations...
Lol. I say pr-eye-mark, but originally it was pronounced pree-mark because that's how the irish say it - at least that's according to wikipedia I asked my irish friend though, and she did say pree-mark and that's where it originates... I prefer pr-eye-mark though.
Ermmm Primark mainly sells clothing, underwear, shoes and accessories but it also sells some stuff for the home like quilts, candles, cushions and that kind of thing. Very cheap.
We have a store in the USA called Target. Pretty sure the official pronunciation is like the English word target (TAR get), but many people prefer to pronounce it tar ZHAY.
