Which Character are You? (in Flank Hawk)

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by TWErvin2, Dec 21, 2009.

    WritingForums Folks,

I've added a new feature to my website. There's now a program that you can find out which character you are in my published novel, Flank Hawk. Answer some questions, click and find out. Of course it may be more fun if you've read the novel, but even if not, I think you might find it interesting.

    Link: What Character Are You?

Give it a shot and maybe post your result here in this thread.

    You're most like: Roos

Paul Jeddidiah Roos, a Crusader from the Reunited Kingdom on a mission to repay a debt. Balancing his faith and friendship, Roos offers his unique firepower and knowledge to Krish's mission.

    Roos is ok.

Cool! Your novel sounds interesting, I think I'm going to buy it some time soon. Does it ship to Europe?

    Thetalpha,

Thank you for the compliment, about my novel sounding interesting.

Yes, the Flank Hawk should be available in most places in Europe. It's distributed through Baker & Taylor and Ingrams. I know it's available on Amazon.com UK and Amazon in Germany. I know someone obtained Flank Hawk in Cyprus.

Here are a couple of links of interest about ordering:

    Torana/Sherie,

Thanks for letting me know you thought it was interesting. I guessed it might be when I designed it/was putting it together, but one never knows.

..given what i do, that seems pretty much on target, though some of the questions did not allow for accurate answers...

    Mammamaia,

From my interaction online with you, Imperial Seer Lochelle would seem to be a good match.

I agree that sometimes the questions don't allow for completely accurate answers. It was a balance. From my original draft I narrowed the # of questions, and limited the # of possible responses. Many folks online, I felt, wouldn't appreciate a test that took too long. I had a few testers/guinea pigs that independently confirmed this.

There are also a few typos that have to be repaired too:eek:

Thanks for taking a moment to try the quiz and comment.

Yes, I suspect LordKyleOfEarth, that you have many similarities to Shaws.

DragonGrim, Master Wizard Golt, although not one of the primary characters, he turned out to be more pivotal in spots than I expected.

Lesser Enchanter Jonas. I believe it is incorrect because of the rank.
