i just wrote something, but i'm nervous about posting first since it's my first rpg >< don't know if i got it quite right... hmm....
You'll be fine take the plunge if anything goes wrong the GM will let you know and I'm sure he'll understand that you are new to this
okay. jumping in... hope i did it right! "yoroshiku onegaishima~su" (lit. translation: please be nice to me)
yeah... see? i always misinterpret (i thought the disk would have a mainframe equivalent or something). i always do that, it's the reason english was my worst subject (i always got the symbolism wrong). but hey, is super easily fixed though. just change the item to disk and make her somewhere in the real world and all is fine. just let me know that i should change it.
Haven't seen the Matrix yet. We were supposed to watch it in Screenwriting last year and never got to it...same with Clockwork Orange... I kinda got cyberpunk .hack feeling when I read the first post. Hope I'm not too off
I saw Clockwork Orange last month and it was amazing! I wanna read the book so bad. Once we set up my TV in my room I'm so renting The Matrix.
I have watched Matrix and the second part is awfully worse. I skipped the worst part but other than that everything is fine. I have fun landing punches.
yea i was expecting an opening post. I thought we were meant to stay in the mainframe/ chaos hour but people seem to have opened with real life so i was waiting for some other people to see how i would approach it
Yeah I am not sure how we are supposed to make our own story because a) we are all going to want to do different things b) how will we ever know eachothers faction without gm help c) I've never heard of an rpg working without gm help
We're not supposed to know anyone else's faction, Thagryn, that's the point. And I saw someone else started with getting their Key, so I thought that was a good way to start.
I know we're not supposed to know eachothers faction but some factions are against others and how are we supposed to find out who's who later on without a gm?
Well, how about everyone post and at least introduce our characters and stuff. Then each of us can meet up with the others and all...
yea i know what you mean free will is good but if your using someones idea it helps that if they direct you in some way
I have officially entered. I like to think an RPG is the combined effort of the creator and the people playing it. Each tell a story and each have an important part in situation and events. So I can work with or without someone else's ideas.
I will try to make due with what i've got though, just posted but was a little bit late because 67 kangaroos logged off.
