I don't like Dan Brown much. Although DaVinci Code, A&D and Lost Symbol are readable, it's just the same story over and over. One boring mystery, one guy chasing them and so on. And a ton of mistakes in the so-called 'facts' he use. Plus, there are so many better writers in the same genre. Steve Berry, Andy McDermott, Elisabeth Kostova, Glenn Cooper, Tom Knox, Sam Bourne and so on are all much better. And don't forget Norway's Tom Egeland. (Circle's End, Guardians of the Pact and The Gospel of Lucifer are all in the same genre.) Dan Brown are far too overrated and only got popular because DaVinci Code had an intereting solution to an interesting mystery. Though without spoiling stuff, even the computer game Gabriel Knight 3 had the exact same solution to the same mystery years earlier, and there was at least one book dealing with it back in the 70s or so. All Dan Brown did was rip off the solution and build a crappy story around it.
