    Bad news.

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Solaris, Sep 17, 2008.

I just found out a little bit ago from my mother, that her sister/my aunt is really sick and might have cancer.
She wants to start emailing her everyday with funny/uplifting letters.
So if anyone has any good jokes, funny pictures, uplifting quotes etc. they could contribute I'd really appreciate it!

Fingers crossed that she doesn't have cancer, but either way i'll keep my fingers crossed and hope she can ha ve a speedy recovery.

he only uplifting email i can think of is 'I Love you" etc ;)

When im at work tomorrow (had almost a week off) i'll have at least 100
spam emails with apperent "funny" stuff, so i'll filter it and see what i can find.

Tell her in an email that Speedy says get well ;). I do hope all it not to bad (as your not sure yet).

Im guessing she lives a distance away?

Zorell - thank you for that suggestion, but my aunt really isn't much of a computer person so I think text/pictures is as far as we're going to go. I'm sure she wouldn't be that interested in videos.

And thank you also Speedy! I'll let her know haha.
The doctor said there's a good chance it's bad so, crossing fingers is all we can do!
    I appreciate your good wishes.

Oh god, I had a cancer scare just a few weeks ago. I usually am a pretty compassionate person (not because I'm mean, but because I have a genuine problem with empathy), but coming off of that I can understand the position she's in. I really hope it's all cool.

    Oh really? That sucks. D:
I'm glad it was just a scare!
    Thank you though.

I'm thankful for your guys' positive thoughts, seeing as I think that can actually be somewhat effective.
    :D
