Signed. My new lease earlier this weak. My sister, her fiance and I are moving in to our own place in a really nice complex.

    That's great, Andrae!

I'm happy because Orphan Black season 3 is on and the channel is available with my local cable subscription.

My 2000 Taurus turned 300,000 miles this morning. It's starting to rust out from under me, but it runs as well and gets the same gas mileage as it did the day I bought it. Best purchase of my life.

A reliable car is a thing of beauty and a joy forever. I'm still driving my 2002 Altima and it's running very well.

I finally finished all my tests (ACT, GED, and acuplacers) and now I can pick out some courses and go to college a year early :) Also, I just have the best and most supportive friends.

Writing lyrics for the first time in a few years for my recently reformed band. The creative juices are flowing in this respect, once more. :D

That's great! Are you gigging yet, or just in the early stages?

In the early stages @jannert and we're doing it - at least for the moment - on a recording only basis. I have my suspicions this will change once we get into the groove, as it were. One of the band members lives and works in Manchester although he's gradually working his way back to us (we disbanded when he moved out to Australia, then London). If we get some decent new material down, which I think we will, then live shows could be in the offing. I'm just glad to be doing it again, in any capacity. ;)

Got my cast off today, but now I'm in a walking boot for four weeks. It's like going from shackles to handcuffs but at least I can take a shower without worrying about getting a cast wet. :superagree:

If I found I had an inner cow, I would be researching surgical options right now.

I'm sure your local meat processing plant would help you out (i.e. eviscerate your inner cow, package it, and resell it to you for the low, low price of $9.99 per pound).

A day of no stress is a day of bliss and happiness as far as I'm concerned. :) It could be muggy, hot and raining outside and I would find it very relaxing.

Just bought myself a laptop so I can spend time writing outside in the summer warmth. No more writing in the gloomy basement anymore!

Make sure to not cover up your fan so that your laptop doesn't over heat. I sure hope that you got one with the anti-glare screen!

I have a Laptop cooling table (That may or may not be what it's called). It's a plastic rectangle with two fans in it for additional cooling. Works like a charm!

Also, I'm going to be getting a Anti-glare screen protector for it.

Hi @minstrel! I'd visit more, but without actual internet service, I tend to avoid m computer altogether... And it's just a pain in the butt, (and eyes) trying to us my mobile device for this sort of thing.
