I just woke up because the sun was streaming into my room. I love beautiful mornings :)

In truth, I'm usually awake before the sun comes up. Gosh, I haven't slept in in such a long time... :(

I've had the day off from work today, and I needed it! Just hanging around, not doing too much, freewriting here and there. Amazing.

Yes! It is the best part of the day. I have winter depression, so if I don't get my solar fix in the morning, I'm a crab.

But it was very sunny this morning, happy to say :) Good day, sunshine!

I am happy because yesterday Daniel's novel, Samhane, went on pre-order. YAY! He sold 2 copies yesterday as well. One was to one of the guys that interviewed him on his blog tour of the world. (which is still going mind you). It's so exciting!

Also, my mother and father in-law are here, and we are all having a lovely time. They are buying me a new washign machine as well (mine blew the day after they got here... typical lol). Best part is, Tobin has warmed to them very quickly. It's great to see him spending so much time with them. Really warms the heart!

I also got a new dress, that fits perfectly (I didn't try it on before I bought it lol) and looks really good on as well. It's been a brilliant week!

    Harry Potter.
    Was.
    AMAZING!!!!! :D

As always, the movie adaptation delighted me. It always makes me happy how much the book and movie are alike (even though it does annoy me that they leave some stuff out), because I always HATE it when the movie adaptations of a book (Inkheart :( ) or a TV show (The Last Airbender :( ) are crappy. This was excellent, and I couldn't believe where they ended it -- perfect, but I didn't want it to end.

Can't wait til the next one!!!!

Great to hear how everything's going well! :) (Well, except for the washing machine then, but you're having that replaced, so yeah)

Also, picture of the dress? :D I saw a very pretty dress the other day that looked nice on me but it was too expensive. :(

    Tomorrow is Thanksgiving.

I'm grateful for my beautiful puppy, for not performing awfully my first semester in college, for my wonderful friends of old and new, for hand-knitted purple scarves when it is sleeting outside, that I have the luxury to hold an annual feast while others might be wondering when and where their next meal might be, that I have people who love me. No matter how hard I perceive my life to be at times, I know that I am one of the lucky few to be blessed with this lifestyle I lead.

What are you grateful for, WF.org?

I'm grateful that my assistant store manager is transferring to another store! :D My store manager told me last night, and it was all I could do not to dance around and click my heels.

Now I just have to cross my fingers that her replacement won't be insane like she is.

I wish Thanksgiving was an official holiday in Belgium too. But, stupid country we are, we don't celebrate it. Ah well, one day I will. ;)

But, of course I'm thankful for a lot of things...

I'm happy for only having ONE exam left, after that I can prepare for birthday :)D) and Christmas (aka baking, decorating...).
I'm grateful for my incredibly awesome boyfriend... it's almost one year ago he told me what he felt for me. :)
And it might snow Monday!! So yes, happy.

I'm thankful for my beautiful little girl.
I'm thankful for my grandfather, the handyman. He's really helped me prepare my house for the market and has always been excellent to me.
I'm thankful for my parents, who are letting me crash at their place for a few months until I can get my house sold.
I'm also thankful for my wonderful and beautiful girlfriend, who helps me see the positive side of life all the time and really makes my days more tolerable in general.

I was delighted to find an entire passage dedicated to the subtext throughout Star Trek: The Wrath Of Khan in chapter 15 of her Alternative Scriptwriting textbook!! :D

I am thankful for everything right now. My job, my family, my lifestyle. . . And that my ability to write has improved over the short three month period since I joined WF. :D I have very much to be thankful for. :D

Recently, I took the music off of Keedy's iPod. I'm listening to it now and it's reminding me of just how amazing she is. :)
