That weird error causing the website menu to cover your form titles was caused by a cached version of the logo.

Happy that I remembered how stupid some browsers can be in caching images with the exact same name as every other page of the website where said image appears correctly. *mutter*

    Cache refresh FTW!

It's been a loooong few weeks, but finally, with going through a divorce and going broke, a good friend has propped me up financially, I've got a place to rent to start life anew, and have a holiday from tomorrow.

And, damn, if it isn't even sunny too!

I've even been writing (although it's erotica, so bit too naughty for here)

So, I am wearing the golden threads of happiness!

Completed my first ever 10k race this morning.

I shouldn't be, but I'm pretty impressed with myself. I've trained once in the last fortnight, only trained for 7 weeks, and it's only the third time I've even attempted 10k in my entire life. Got in just under an hour (59:50), according to my phone. I think I'll try a proper training regime before running the race next year - with a bit of training I could go sub-50 minutes.

Pleased to have a treadmill allowing training indoors this morning. 1:40 completed before breakfast :D It rained all day. Most rain we have had in one day for 25 years.

Then survived an hour on the rollers in the afternoon thanks to new Bluetooth headphones, found cheaply at a local outlet.

Week 1 of build done and dusted. Legs toast. Recovery day tomorrow. :sleepy:

And he's paying for the calling plan and came over and hooked the phone up to the service. I raised a sweetie.

On another note, I have a killer idea for the summer story writing contest. I'm stoked. I only need to post an acceptable entry. I don't need to win, just get recognition I can write. :D

I just got offered and accepted a job. I will be running a program that helps Child Protective Services manage their caseload more effectively. CPS is in need of programs like this, so I'm excited to be able to help out.

last night: cook a roast dinner with extra veges deliberately prepared and left over
tonight: have you ever had a home-made pizza with roast veges (and cheese, etc) as a topping?

I just finished the final edit of a big project. Pretty stoked that I accomplished a huge goal. Now I can just wait for everyone to tear it apart.

This Friday, Bethesda's going to be talking about Fallout 4 at Quaker Con (I believe that's what the name is). Woo! Looking forward to seeing what they'll reveal. :D

I've just hooked up a spare monitor to my laptop and successfully separated the two screens so I can use one for forums and research and the other for writing - in other words, I don't have to split the one screen anymore and can view research full screen while still having my book full screen too. (I know you lot already knew that). In the world of computer technology, I am the smallest little ant with very limited knowledge - I can do what I need to do and that's it. However, as far as my hubs is concerned, I am a tech wizard as I know oodles more about computing than he does. (He's a dinosaur still looking for the 'any key'.) Wait until he gets a load of my dual screen set up! He'll think I'm a tech Goddess! HAHAHAHAHA!

I'm happy because A) I'm back on here from my self ban during the last few months of college. B) I passed my college course, got pretty decent grades. C) i'm enjoying my other "Job" of album reviewer/article writer for a website D) i have my evenings back from my job, as i now work early mornings (brilliant for my creativity as well!) E) (linked to C) I was entrusted with the new single that no one knew about for a band i'm good friends with, so I could review it. F) I feel much less stressed now than I did while doing my college course, which makes me feel better about myself!

    win win all round!
