I am happy because I broke my printer at work today. Like...beyond fixing broke. Sounds like a bad thing, but it's not. It had been sort of broken, but still usable as long as you were equipped with copious amounts of patience, for about a week, and it was driving me crazy. And now we get a new one. Which means I get to stay sane. Oh, and I'm also happy because the vampire thread was finally closed. Been looking forward to that moment for quite some time.
I finally landed a full time, stable job as of yesterday. After two months of searching for one, I've come to the conclusion that this economy is indeed a little offbeat.
Just bought the Withnail and I special edition DVD, and it comes with the film score on CD! I'm soaked through, though.
One of the women who goes to church with my sister offered to make my wedding cake. I haven't gotten a price estimate yet, but it will probably be significantly cheaper than getting it from somewhere else. Hooray for Mormon connections!
I have a tan And I'm getting an x ray (sounds like an unhappy thing, but I'm actually glad to see what this stupid bump thing is now not when I'm back home) And I could understand what the doctor said (in french)
I FINALLY FINISHED!!!!! I was procrastinating for forever, but FINALY I'M DONE!! NO MORE TO DO!!! IT'S ALL DONE! FOR THE FUTURE!! *dances like an idiot* I love the feeling of finally getting something finished, don't you?
Thanks!!! *twirls about giddily throwing rose petals in the air* Now I don't have that guilt eating at me..... because I finally did it.....I'm done! I'm finished! It's all good!!
I've had a marvelous morning. I went to practice (that part wasn't wonderful. That part was stressful.) and then I went over to the middle school to help Mrs. Baughn (a teacher there that I am fond of.) decorate her classroom before school. I ran into a teacher I had about 3 years ago, she was my very odd, very eccentric reading teacher. Who had lots of schemes and projects and was just fun. I sat in her room and talked for two hours. Then, I worked more for Mrs. Baughn, and she took me home, and we chatted. And she's just nice to talk to. Made me smile.
I'm happy for you Em! Every now and then there comes along a teacher who you can talk to as a person and not just a teacher; I've had 2 in my 8 years of school and they're both wonderful people.
The music director his wife (our organist) went out for ice cream...so my boss decided that she and I should close up early and get some ice cream.
