Powerful but not flawless. Headstrong but sober. In my writing, my main character (hero of course!) is a wizard (I like the term caster better). He is a demigod compared to the rest, but his power makes him dangerous. If he were to get hurt in such a way, and the power somehow got control, he could have a breakdown ending with him killing himself in something similar to a small nuclear explosion.
