Seven side stepped and batted her hand down before striking for her, well self, with a punch of her own. "This shouldn't be possible!" She yelled in annoyance, as she followed up with a massive kick to the enemy bots shin! (Fast strikes weak only 10 energy)
Eudoxia Level 2 Point Amount: 240 Money Amount: 90 "Are you kidding me!" Eudoxia complained. He saw his own attack headed straight for him, and he decided the only logical thing to do was to throw one back. He pulled out his funnel glove, created a tornado and threw it at the Puppet Eudoxia's tornado. Damage Ratio: 0% (On the grounds the tornado will destroy itself when it collides with the other)
Xin_Torg: Level: 2.8 Xin defended as the copy of herself came with twelve hard strikes. Sparks flew, and Xin growled, rage overcoming her senses as she retalliated with an exact number of those strikes. Can you defeat yourself . . .? NO! That's the trick to it! Realization hit Xin and she whooped, acting so out of the ordinary that the copy backed off a pace. "Seven! Swap!" she yelled, running towards Seven and fending off her copy, launching herself at the copy-cat android and bringing down her fist hard towards the join in the fake android's neck. "Everyone! Switch up your opponents! You can't defeat yourself, so you have to beat another!"
Puppet Seven fell to the ground as her leg was kicked out from under her. But she rolled back into a fighting stance, only to have her head nearly knocked off her shoulders by Xin's punch. Seven did a flip backwards, kicking Xin in the chin hard as she did. Then she stretched out a hand and prepared to electrocute her. The two tornado's collided and destroyed themselves. So puppet Eudo took a different approach and tossed a ring of exploding bots around Eudoxia which exploded upon impact with the ground. Mason was fighting the puppet version of himself...and was not enjoying it. He didn't realize fighting himself would be so difficult. Already he was exhausted and badly bruised. Then he heard Xin, "Everyone! Switch up your opponents! You can't defeat yourself, so you have to beat another!" Why didn't I think of that? "Eudo! Switch!" Mason yelled and spun over to puppet Eudo sending an energy pulse into his chest and sending him flying backwards.
Mythai Mythai darted to the side as her needles tried to pin her to the wall. Somehow she still managed to get nicked in the arm by one. "Yep, I always knew I had good aim..." Mythai muttered under her breath as she stared at the image of herself; eyes of death boring into her own. "Everyone! Switch up your opponents! You can't defeat yourself, so you have to beat another!" Xin's voice sounded in the midst of the confusion. Grenade in hand, Mythai broke her gaze and ran over to face puppet Aren. "Never thought I'd ever be doing this," She said as she released her weapon, aimed toward the chest of the copy of her ally.
Eudoxia Level 3 Point Amount: 240 Money Amount: 90 Eudoxia saw as his copy threw the termite bombs at him. His eyes grew wide, as they were close to hitting the ground. He turned around as fast as he could and used his Speed Enhancement Chip to run from the target area of the bombs. They hit the ground and blew up behind him, sending him flying into the ground. 15% Damage Taken "Everyone! Switch up your opponents! You can't defeat yourself, so you have to beat another!" Once he looked back up, he saw Mason shoot Eudoxia out of the sky. "Nice!" Edo yelled lifting his arm. He got up and jumped towards the copy of Mason. He outstretched his hand, and threw a trail of MicroBots at him. They were meant to spin around him shoot lasers. Damage Ratio: 25% (If successfully hit.)
Xin: Level: 2.9 "Oh no you don't!" Xin hissed as The Puppet Seven tried to electrocute her, bringing up her sword. Sparks flew and lightning crackled over it, but her insulated hilt prevented her from being harmed. Let's do this Android to Android. Torg insisted, and Xin attacked viciously enough to force the copy Seven away a few feet before letting Torg take over. The transformation was larger this time. Now almost half of her body became covered in sleek metal, and her left arm hummed and became nearly insubstantial as the cells shifted and placed themselves in allignment for other transformations. Hold your sword in your other hand. Torg told her, and Xin quickly switched up as the puppet Seven came running at her. Swing! Xin swung, and gawked at the huge sledgehammer that had replaced her left hand as it came down towards the fake android's head.
Puppet Aren was not expecting the switch of attackers and failed to get out of the way of My's grenade in time. It sent him flying backwards but he quickly rolled back to his feet and sent three consecutive shots flying towards Mythai. Mason saw the attack just in time. Aren was an expert marksman, Mythai wouldn't be able to dodge in time. He tooks his eyes off Puppet Eudoxia and created an biotic sheild in front of Mythai just before the bullets hit. "Hit him fast, Mythai! Don't give him a chance to recover or reload." Puppet Mason was hit by several of Eudo's lasers, but before they could do much damage he raised a biotic shield to protect himself. When the microbots ran out of juice he sent a wave of biotic energy flying towards Eudoxia. A circut in the back of Puppet Seven's head sparked at Xin hit it with the strength of an Android. As she went down, however, Puppet Seven's arm caught Xin around the leg...pulling her off balance and causing her to fall towards the ground. Puppet Seven jumped back up and did a powerful roundhouse kick towards Xin/Torg. One of Puppet Seven's eyes seemed to flicker as an exposed circut in the back of her neck sparked. As the cadets battled against themselves for their lives, the pirates in the stadium roared with approval. The child puppet master watched them with white eyes. Her lips turned up in approval at the cadet's strategy but her forhead was also creased in sadness
Eudoxia: 95% Level 3 Point Amount: 240 Money Amount: 90 Eudoxia was hit by the energy pulse and was sent flying of his feet. His MicroBots retreated and began to recharge themselves. He stood up, staring the puppet version of Mason, and looked back at the little evil girl. He had no idea how she was controlling them, there was o=no scientific explanation. But then again there was also no explanation as for why Seven had emotions. He tried to stand back on his feet. "This is preposterous . How is she controlling their movements? We have to find a way to cut her ability from her vessels. How did she even make these? There has to be something that is allowing her to control them. Eudoxia frowned as he looked back at the Mason. He knew fighting himself would been hard, but Mason only had long ranged attacks. Fighting him would be hard. Edo knew that the only way he could win was if he got in close, but that would be extremely difficult. "I am completely insane." he yelled as he pulled out his Digital Shield and sword and ran his fastest at the spot Mason was in.
Xin_Torg: level: 2.9 "Oomf!" Xin was sent flying into the wall, and when she crashed back to the ground, a dent was left in the metal. Growling, the iron hammer shifted back to a hand, and Xin stood up as the puppet Seven charged. Speed increasing by thirty. Forty . . . fifty . . . Xin's whole body started to vibrate, and then there were two images of her standing in front of the puppet Seven. Flicking two wrists wielding two swords outwards, sweat beaded her forhead and she gritted her teeth. She couldn't sustain this speed for long. But one move might do enough to finish the fake android off. Hummmmmmmm the ground is covered by streaks of dust and blood as Xin flicks into hyper-speed, and her heart-rate rose in accordance until it was dangerously high. Just have to . . . sever the cable. The humm increased in volume until the images multiplied, all around Seven. The twelve Xin's raised their swords high, preparing for the next blow. "Whirlwind."
Seven switched targets and went for Mason. She barreled into him with a crushing tackle hoping to pin him to the ground. (30 energy strong tackle)
Eudoxia's sheild smashed into Puppet Mason sending him tumbeling backwards. Before he could recover though, Seven tackled him and smashed Puppet Mason into the ground. Then he did something unexpected. Puppet Mason, while still pinned by Seven, pulled out a grenade and held it against Seven's neck. Then he pulled the pin. In ten seconds the grenade would explode. Puppet Mason was willing to kill himself to take out Seven. Though, since he was controlled by the child, could you really call it a "will"? Puppet Seven staggared back as Xin/Torg's laser sword burnt through it's armor. As soon as Xin's attacked stopped however, Puppet Seven went on the offensive sending a flurry of punches towards Xin's body. Mason defended himself from an attack by Puppet Eudoxia. Then he charged towards his target and smashed a fist into the ground right next to him. A pulse of biotic energy hit Eudoxia from below sending him flying into Puppet Aren. The two untangled themselves and Puppet Aren loaded up his sniper. Before anyone had time to react he'd shot Mythai in the chest, barely missing her heart. She'd have to heal herself quickly or become the first casualty of this mission.
Xin_Torg: Level: 2.9 Xin grunted as the punches landed, knocking the wind out of her and sending her flying once again. Tumbling to the ground, she tried to get up, but collapsed. Coughing and clutching at her stomach, a drop of blood hit the soil. Trembling, she looked with glazed eyes at the fake seven as the lack of oxygen drew its toll on her. Dammit. she thought, then her body slumped, unconscious.
Seven kept Mason pinned and began wailing on him with powerful strikes to the face, then with 4 seconds left of the gernade she ripped it from his hand and chucked it at puppet Seven "Gernade!" She yelled and went back to punching Mason.
Eudoxia: 85% Level 3 Point Amount: 240 Money Amount: 90 Eudoxia saw as Seven had a grenade put to her neck. He began to run at her, but before he knew it she had chucked it over to the mock version of herself. He sighed a relief, but was soon hit with an energy pulse. Edo went flying into Puppet Aren, as they collided the collision left Edo unconscious for a slight second. In this small span of time, Puppet Aren was able to shoot Mythai in the chest. Everything in Eudoxia's head was slowed down. He felt his heart beat slow down, thinking Myth had been killed, then , his heart beat quickened out of anger. Eudoxia clutched his fists and began to grind his teeth. Edo's eyes once again turned dark purple, as if there was nothing in his soul. He was completely furious. He had had enough, of all this killing, and all this hurting of his friends. He did not want to see another one of his comrades put in harm's way again. He pondered for a quick second whether these things were alive or not, then he realized, he didn't care. He minimized his digital shield and slipped it into his pocket. He then took his digital sword by its tip with his pointer finger and thumb. He then used his strength enhancement chip to throw the sword at Puppet Aren's chest, the sword spun in mid air. Through this, Edo gave it a higher speed, it would also tear through the skin as if a slash instead of a pierce. While the sword was still mid air, Edo ran next to it using his speed enhancement chip to its full potential and prepared to battle Aren in hand to hand combat. "You killed her, you son of a bitch!!!!!!!" Edo yelled angrily.
Mythai: Health 70% "You...killed...her..." A voice pounded into her skull as she felt her knees give way and she collapsed on the arena floor. "I'm okay!" Mythai tried to yell, but no sound came from her mouth. Only her slowing heartbeat played while her lungs worked overtime. Blinking back tears, Mythai managed to sit up and place her hand over her chest. Her breath quickened as she fully realized the situation. She'd taken a fatal shot. She should be dead. She still could die. Everything around her stopped as she thought of nothing but her condition. With shaking hands, Mythai unzipped her bag to pull out a medkit and cloth. She could only whisper a silent prayer as she injected herself in the arm, fighting back the urge to pass out. The medicine flowed through her veins, soon followed by a rush of anger. The child couldn't be in her right mind. Who would want to kill...for fun, for play? Why treat people like toys? Pressing the cloth to her wound, Mythai stood on weak legs. Should she still fight? No, but she'd come too far to give up. Her allies needed her. Gripping another stun grenade, Mythai rolled it on the ground towards Puppet Eudoxia, aiming for his feet.
Mason saw Keit slump to the ground, unconscious. Mythai was bravely fighting to stay awake while she treated herself and continued to fight. The was one tough doc. He planted himself in front of Mythai, determined to be her shield from anyone else who attempted to attack her. Namely Puppet Aren and Puppet Seven who was stalking towards them. Suddenly Puppet Seven staggered as a grenade exploded right behind her. Mason thought for sure was going down for good this time...but it was no good. She got up again, like a bad penny. Puppet Seven just refused to die. Mason raised his biotic shield and yelled, "Seven! Cover Xin. Eudo!...Edo?" Mason's jaw almost dropped as he watched Eudoxia attacked Puppet Aren with a ferocity he had never seen his comrade display before. Puppet Aren staggared back from the attacks. He was a long ranged fighter. Being attacked at close range made it difficult for him to fight back. Several cuts and bruises later Aren activated Tech Bomb. He jumped out of the way as it exploded and disspersed a large cloud of smoke concealing him from view. Puppet Mason wasn't as lucky. Trapped under several tons of metal, he found it impossible to escape the android's punishment. Then when his body couldn't take anymore, he disintigrated and dissappeared. As if he'd never been there. The child voice echoed in Seven's mind. "Good, now help your friends. Then soon you can free me." Puppet Eudoxia crumpled as Mythai's stun grenade exploded right between his legs. He was stunned, for the moment; but it wouldn't be long before he was back on his feet.
Eudoxia: 70% Level 3 Point Amount: 240 Money Amount: 90 Edo got close to Puppet Aren, but the fake version of the Jumper threw down a smoke bomb. Edo was flown off his feat. Once he got back up he couldn't see but he had an easy solution. He put on his funnel glove and created a very small tornado behind him. This tornado sucked up all the smoke, and he was able to se the mock Aren once again. Eudoxia ran at the puppet as fast as he could. He intertwined the fingers of his left and right hand, making one fist, almost digging into his skin by holding his own hands so tight. He ran up to Aren and prepared to use this one fist to bash Aren across the face with all his strength.
The battle between the true Jumpers and their puppet-selves lasted nearly half-an-hour before the copies were finally defeated. No Jumper had avoided some injury. Even the Commander looked tired. With the puppets defeated, Shadow Squad turned to child who had created them. She had collapsed to her knees out of exhaustion. She looked up at them with a tired smile. "I knew you'd be the ones." She said out loud. Her voice was weak, as if it had been many years since she'd spoken out loud. The jumpers could barely hear her above the roar of the pirates in the stadium. "I hoped you would be the ones to defeat me...and free me." She closed her eyes and lifted her face to the ceiling. "Please, kill me. I don't want to fight anymore."
"Sure." Seven said "how would you like to go? neck break? Or strangulation?" Then the android stopped to ponder a moment. "And why, instead of deing, don't you fight back against your oppressors? human life is short, and I don't really want to kill you."
Eudoxia Level 3 Point Amount: 290 Money Amount: 90 Eudoxia left Puppet Aren's dead body lying in the middle of the battlefield. Blood dripping from Edo's fists. After recovering all of his belongings he had heard what the little girl had said. At first he wanted to kill her for almost killing Myth. In the middle of his fight with mock Aren, he figured out that Myth wasn't dead, but still attacked with as much force as he did when he was enraged. He stared at her with cold eyes and puled out his sword and pointed it towards her forehead. He was hesitant to push it forward and put a whole in her head. It was a little girl. His arm quivered and he bit his bottom lip. He then put his sword back and said, "Why don't you just come with us?" he asked. The question was towards the girl but he was looking at his Commander.
"And why, instead of dying, don't you fight back against your oppressors? human life is short, and I don't really want to kill you." "I've tried." The girl replied. "But the Captain is too strong. He knows his own weakness and strengths and uses them against the puppets I create." She hung her head in defeat. "Why don't you just come with us?" Eudoxia asked. "I cannot leave. I am the Captain's slave. If you tried to take me with you, he would surely kill you all. The only way to truly release me...is to kill me. Please." Her gray eyes filled with tears. "No. It's not right. There has to be a way to help you." Mason protested. He raised his hands to head trying to think.
Xin_Torg: Xin groaned and pushed herself up, shaking her head, the collapsed again. "Why don't you just-" then a series of confusing bleeping noises came from her and her eyes widened. Opening her mouth, sh tried speaking again, but got the same result. Looking around, she didn't become aware of the metal creeping over her body until it had completely covered it, and her eyes swirled black, then turned completely red, both iris and pupil alike. Rising up, Xin looked at her metallic frame -so much like Seven's now- then both hands creaked and clanked, changing into hammers, then cannons, then twin swords. But it wasn't Xin. It was Torg. No one knew that yet, though. "Heh, looks like i got an upgrade." Torg said, using Xin's voice, while the real Xin's mind was still unconscious.
Eudoxia Level 3 Point Amount: 240 Money Amount: 90 Eudoxia grew a scowl on his face after he saw what happened to Xin. He had nothing against robots, and he never did. But he especially trusted them now that he had met Seven. Though he didn't know much about Torg, and still wasn't sure whether to trust him or not. Edo wiped his scowl off of his face before Xin or anyone could notice. He looked into Xin's eyes with his large purple eyes. He had no idea that he was truly looking into Torg's eyes. "Xin, are you sure you wanna go with this. You are changing." Edo said trying to nudge Xin out of the idea of becoming one with Torg. Waiting for Xin to respond, he turned to the Puppet Girl, and sparked an idea. "The old man informed us if we win, we recieve a wish. We could use that on you to grant you your freedom. As long as everyone else is okay with the suggestion." he said looking towards his teammates.

"Child, do you want your freedom?" The puppet master looked around at everyone, grateful tears shone in her eyes. She nodded so hard it looked as if her head might come off. "Yes. Yes I do." "What's your name, then?" Mason asked. "Maya." She replied. By this time the space pirates had begun to realize no more blood was going to be shed. Dissapointed, they left the stadium, exchanging bets as they left. A door in the stadium opened and the old man that had spoken to the earlier gestured for them to follow him. "Amazing. You guys were amazing!" He raved. "But what were thinking sparing the girl? The Captain won't let you get away with it you know." "We have a plan." Mason replied with a smile. He was overjoyed to be out of that arena. Hopefully they could start their mission again soon. The old man shrugged and said no more as he led them to the Captain's quarters. "Good luck in there." He said. "Enjoy the freedom you've earned." The Captain sat in a reclining chair at the far end of the room. He smoked a cigarette while watching the group walk forward. 4 guards stood behind him, weapons drawn and ready to shoot anything that appeared to be a threat. "So, you've beaten The Beast Tamer and my Puppet Master. Maya, you disappoint me." The child shivered pitifully, doing her best to hide behind Seven. "You know the price of failure." The Captain's voice was deep and scratchy. His dark brown eyes gleamed with bloodlust, as if he couldn't wait to plunge a dagger into his next victim. "I'll deal with you later." He looked up at the rest of Shadow Squad. "The reward of winning the fights in the arena is one reasonable request, granted by me and your freedom. So, what do you want? Money...slaves...to join my crew?"
