What I listed was just somethings that came in my mind and those were not the certain recommendations. I myself have never used the most of them.
I'm not happy my vehicle started hard yesterday. I hope it's not a sign of things to come, as repairs to vehicles aren't cheap.
Tree fell on the power lines, knocked out power to the whole neighborhood since this morning. But I did have a lovely day reading and working on the novel in the shade in the backyard. Not being connected to the Internet is good for getting other things done.
I haven't seen a tornado or hurricane closely yet but I saw them in the documentary movies in the TV or in the pictures. Certainly those are some awful things. If the path of tornado passes from your area go in the basement and wait until this hungry dragon is passing.
Had you a tornado in your area either? As you described a tree fell on the power lines it must be a hurricane?
My grandparents have been separated in the home because my grandfather has been accused of slapping my grandmother when he was just trying to put a blanket on her. The home won't let me know if the separation is permanent because the superiors have to decide. My grandmother started throwing up they day after they moved him. My grandfather has never been abusive. He has always been caring of his wife. I grew up with him, I visit him every week. He does not have any mental illnesses. I feel as if the home is more intent on believing their own staff when even another nursing assistant who takes care of my grandmother doesn't believe it. I feel so powerless. My grandparents are like my parents. I don't know what to do.
Sorry As you say, your granddad is a kind and peaceful man and he didn't intend to beat your grandmother intentionally. It is a very sad thing that an old man is imprisoned faultlessly while he has never seen a prison yet. Where are you from, how many old are your grandfather and how police was announced to arrest him?
Oh my, trees in the park are falling like bowling pins on league night. Yesterday one fell on the power lines and we were without power all day. Today I go out in the back yard and a huge branch has broken off a maple and it's lying across my fence. I pulled it down the rest of the way and helped it land on the park side of the fence. I come inside and a few minutes later the whole top half of a different large maple crashes down on the fence and the neighbor's shed.
This image gives a bit more scale to the thing. That entire tree above and to the side of the shed is one half of the fallen branch. The other half fell the opposite direction.
Well, after several days of merely existing in agony, my grandmother died 6am this morning. I'm glad it didn't drag on any longer than it did, it was awful seeing another human being suffer that much.
I'm so sorry, Lemex I know what you mean. My grandfather passed away last month after doing the same.
Sorry to hear this, Lem. The last of my grandparents, my mother's father, passed a few months ago. He wasn't a man I knew well, but it was a strangely hollow feeling to know that all of my grandparents have now moved on.
Completely off-topic, but you and I have the same shed. Two years ago we had what we assume was a small tornado pass over the proper that did some notable tree damage.
Thanks everyone. It's been awful seeing her battle cancer. My mother and her sisters are taking it well, we are all happy she is no longer suffering. I don't share my parent's religious beliefs, but if they are happy to think she is in a better place then that's all I can say too I guess.
