    Bye Bye...For Now

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by penhobby, Sep 9, 2008.

I need to finish a book and I can’t because I am so addicted to this forum that I can’t stay off of it. Even when I go upstairs to ‘write’ I tell myself I’m only going to pop in and see what’s happening …long story short, I end up spending hours on here. So I am forcing myself into a temporary hiatus, a WritingForums detox if you will.

If anyone should notice my appearance on here in say the next month, please tell me to get my ass off the forum and get back to work. Also, if this forum should explode or...well, not be here when I get back on in a month, I will be very upset. Maybe even upset enough to hunt down the Mods and beat them with wet noodles and under right circumstances...I can make it hurt. :D

Good luck with finishing the book. :)
I look forward to seeing you on the forum when your book is finished.

Pen I am attempting to do the same.
I am knitting presents for christmas stocking stuffers
but I come here to say hello and it is so hard to say good bye for the day.
I even took the site off my tool bar and it has worked a bit.
It is really tough since everyone here is wonderful and supportive
    maybe that is my problem.
I like you all too much.
Off for a bit to have short term pain for long term gain.
Want to finish the next chapter or three in my missy bear books.
And I want to make my grand children happy for christmas.
    luv and hugs to all
good luck on the book Pen.
If you have to use the wet noodles I will definetly help.

Save me some of those wet noodles. Preferably buckwheat. I crave them every once in a while.

Good luck with writing, Pen. Sometimes on animesuki I have my friends in higher places ban me, just so I could concentrate at work. Forums can be addicting. I totally understand.
