*dusts off cobwebs* Wow, PTGTi is getting a little bit neglected. Anywho, I'm powering on through my driving lessons, and I've been informed that if I pass my test first time, I will inherit this car: It's a Hyundai Amica, kind of a generic car I'll admit, but it has four doors, a fairly sizable boot and I'm getting it for free and my father is paying the insurance so I think it's pretty good to be honest.
Sweet wheels! So long as it gets you from point A to point B, you can't go wrong in a first car! Good luck on you test when you take it. I'm on my fourth vehicle right now, having successfully killed one, condemned one to death row, and pawned the other one off on my little brother (sucker!). The newest model is an '03 Chevy Silverado 2500HD. This beast had better last longer than the two - three years the rest of them did, or I will be a very very unhappy camper.
OMG! eee haha can't wait. *sigh* I'd LOVE this car...http://www.classic-auctions.com/lotdetail.php?lotid=26716&aucid=27262
Isn't it absolutely perfect in every single way?? (Aside from it's sold, and a little rusty...) Oh I'd love that car. I think I'd call it Percy. And I would be so careful not to crash it!
Ohhhhhhh, I want one of those so badly. I'm almost done paying off my car, and I'm so tempted to just turn around and trade it in for a down payment on a mini...
No worries mate, your first car shouldn't be anything great. You have to get some experience under your belt before you really know what you want out of an automobile.
Austin Mini. Oh, and: *Grumbles at the use of "European" to describe English*
*sigh* oops  Well, I'm an idiot, what can I say?! The whole European thingy...I saw a video on youtube where the woman thought Europe was a single country, and everyone there spoke French. And she had never heard of Budapest. Pahaha. Oh dear god.
Does scooteys count as part of the "petrolheads"? lol...I'm getting this beauty as soon as I get my learner's permit....(I can get a license at 16 for gearless vehicles )
Oooh snazzy! I like Girl in my year has a Vespa. But she crashed it/. I couldn't have a bike...jesus I'd be a menace to society ahhaa
So, English is the description of choice then? And scooters......... not exactly petrolhead'ish, but the spirit is there!
Ok, since I've been overly critical of some of the automobiles presented in this thread, I hereby submit one of my favorite cars/builds of all time. The Spectrum5 Racing - Ultima GTR The complete build can be found here: http://www.spectrum5racing.com/Projects/KurtGtrproject.htm Cliffnotes: - Over 1000hp - Top speed over 230mph - 1/4 mile on street tires: 10.0 - Designed and built for road racing
Looks a bit flashy to me, rather ostentatious. But I suppose it's bloody quick. To an English person, yes
