Example: I have a chapter which takes place in let's say, "The Forbidden Forest". I want to call the chapter, "The Forbidden Forest", because that is what the chaper is about. However, nowhere in the chapter or book is it mentioned that that particular forest is called "The Forbidden Forest." Characters just regard to it as the Forest. Is this proper to do? To name a chapter to highlight the name of an actual location without ever mentioning the proper name of that location in the narrative or dialogue?
Good advice. It's what I do. I don't have any problems with Word crashing, really, but even if it does the 1 minute autosave prevents serious problems.
I think it sounds fine. I use my chapters in one part of my book to give dates. I dont know if thats proper or not, but I feel it works, so I would think using it for location would work too.
