    Things which bug

    What gets under your skin?

    (play nice)

When magazines get called books. They're not books! I don't care what they call them on Ugly Betty or 'Prada! :D:mad::D

Parent's who scream at children in stores instead of taking them out of the store.
I don't know which is worse the kids running around screaming or the parent screaming at them to stop screaming.

I would never allow that behaviour from my own so I hate it in others.

    Arrogance.
There is nothing I hate more than an arrogant stupid person who thinks they are so intelligent to the point that they are ignorant of the world as well as a plain BEEP

Nagging, especially when its nagging for something trivial and I'm already in the middle of something, and the nagger won't wait five minutes for me to finish what I'm doing. Its not like the trash is going to explode if i don't take it out now, geeze XD.

The way young people get blamed for everything nowadays, just for being young. My hoodie is a coat that doesn't stop me getting wet. Stop treating me like some kind of satanist for wearing it. If i put my hood up, i'm not going to kill you- i got cold ears.

On a writing point of veiw, I dont particularly like the american authors who write their novels like textbooks. Tom Clancy, there's a goodun. I dont want to know the entire history of the development of the bomb terrorist have just stuck on some guys car, just tell me about the pretty colours it makes when it explodes.

    And arrogance. Good call FantasyWitch.

Unreasonable people really bother me. Then again, am I unreasonable to call them unreasonable...?

Kudos to Rumpole for that one, that's one of my major peeves.

The thing I hate the most is... when people talk to me while I'm listening to my music on earphones, so I pause my music. They finish talking, so I play my music again, and then they start to talk again. Repeat and repeat and repeat. Till I go insane and try to claw my way out of the small car window.

Now in those cases I just nod every so often and keep the music loud.

    Here's another one...

Answering the bloody cell phone in the theatre during the movie.

This one makes my neocortex disappear and reduces me to a grunting homo habilis. I wanna’ chuck a big rock at the person and the cell phone in use. You figure out the coordinates of my aim.

*This happens a lot where I live. Puerto Ricans think nothing of answering and talking on the phone in movies. I don’t go to the movies anymore.*

Am I the only one who hates it when strangers start conversations while waiting on line?

I actually love that. I am usually the one doing the starting.
You get to meet such interesting people while waiting.
I actually met someone who knew my grandmother when I was
in Toronto. I mentioned the name of the town and she said do you know.
    well it was my grandma.
You also cheer people up by saying hello to an old lady who is counting
her money to make sure she has enough to pay for the groceries.
I am also the one who sees the old man who doesn't have quite enough
to pay for something so I give the cashier an extra $20. and tell her it is for
that person. He never knows who and I get a nice feeling.

Hey, I love when strangers have conversations! Living in a northern town, everyone's all secluded. There is no happier feeling to be obtained in a supermarket then talking to someone you don't know.

We are already too isolated from our neighbors.

"Reach out and touch someone" is advice that will get you slapped or arrested, but "reach out with a smile and a friendly word" is a bold but unifying initiative to take.

I really hate it when people expect toddlers to be 18 year olds and understand absolutely everything.

I hate it how some people really do believe that children should be seen and not heard, or not even seen....that bugs me so much!

Seeing mother's hit their children. People using foul language around young children, people fighting around young children....

I have a long list....I'll leave it at that....

and Sharky don't feel too bad...I am like that most of the time myself.

There aren't too many things that bug me, just little things on a day to day basis like:

    1. I don't know if people get this outside the U.K, or even in certain parts of it, but there's always one group of kids on the buses who think it's cool to sit in the seats at the back of the buses, blaring this god-awful trance/clubbing/niche/ whatever-the-hell-you-want-to-call-it music out of their mobile phones; I mean most of the time they have a poor taste in music anyways...why subjugate the rest of us with it?

    2. The phrase "duh" - I mean it's barely a word, and most of the time it's a really stupid response to a seemingly reasonable question that I'm asking. It's like being talked down to, and I hate that

    3. People who chew loudly/with their mouths open - Need I explain myself?

    4. People who talk too much - I'm, for the most part, summed up with the phrase "If I can't think of something to say, I don't say anything". Don't get me wrong; I'm all for in-depth discussions or conversations with a purpose. Maybe it's just that I don't find "awkward silences" very awkward at all, they're only awkward if you make it that way.

I really don't like people who have a big important opinion, but don't know JACK about what why they think that way. It's worse when you point out the logical fallacies and blatant well documented lies that would have have to be believed if they were actually right, yet they continue to believe it.

Littering....hate it, yesterday..this guy took his fast food bags and cups...sat them out next to his car, then drove off and left it. Did I mention the trash can was right there?....
Really?...he couldn't walk like a few feet and put it in the the can?....*ugh*...just irritates me to no end...

I hate it when you have passengers that think it is fun to throw empty cans out your window when there is a car behind you >< That bugs me soooo badly....

torana that is when you pull over and make the thrower pick up 2 pop cans before you
    move the car.

I hate parents who insist that their little girls grow up too fast.
Then when the bigger girl starts dressing like a hooker they say oh my little girl
why is she doing this. why didn't she stay sweet and innocent longer.
We should let children be children not make them grow up so fast.
