There is a black dog, sleeping in the middle of a black road. There are no streetlamps on and there is no moon out. A car with its lights off is driving towards the dog, the driver sees the dog nd goes around it. How does the driver see the dog?
Is it the middle of the day? Therefore, the moon still wouldn't be out, the lights would all be off etc.
Yes you got it. Okay i have another one. There is a man and his wife driving in the middle of nowhere when their car breaks down. The man gets out of the checks the boot to see if anyone is inside, checks the inside of the car, then locks his wife in with windows shut. He then goes to find help. When he comes back his wife is dead and there is a stranger in the car. There is no damage to the car, or any signs of forced entry. How did the wife die and who is the stranger?
^ The man's wife gave birth to a baby while he was gone, and the baby miraculously grew up really fast and killed its mother.
You actually only got it half right, the wife did give birth and the baby is the stranger but he doesnt grow up quickly and kill his mother=) The wife dies while in labour.
This puzzler is a bit of a regional (U.S.) kind of thing - and pretty old - but still fun: A man is found dead behind a tavern - with a bullet hole right between eyes. Surrounding the man are 53 bicycles. Why did this man die?
ok, here is one of my favourites. a man is leaving his house for a holiday, and so he packed his bags, watered his flowers, turns out the lights and locks the door, gets in his car and drives away. through direct fault of these actions 7 men drown and another 12 get wet. why?
He's a lighthouse keeper, when he turns off the light ships can hit the rocks and sink, thus drowning people (and getting others wet).
10 points to MiwAuturu an easy one. a man has two coins in his pocket making 30 cents. one of the coins is not a 20c. what are the coins. (this is based on australian coinage, 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, $1, $2,)
This is a riddle I heard a long time ago when computers were huge. No such thing as a laptop. There are these two computers in a room lets call them computer a and computer b. One computer always lies and one always tells the truth. IN this room there are two doors, lets call them door 1 and door 2. One door is certain death the other door is freedom. You only get to ask two yes or no questions. Your in the room how do you get out?
Ask computer A if Computer B would declare Door 1 safe. If Yes, take door 2, otherwise take door 1. Don't need a second question.
A man walks into a pub and sits down at the bar, and simply orders a water. The bartender looks at the man, and then, quickly pulls out a shotgun and points it at the man. The man says "Thank you," and leaves. Why did they behave this way?
