List of Characters: Imirri: Spoiler Name: Marklin Ren Age: 24 Gender: Male Appearance: Marklin is a handsome youth with black hair, and brooding dark blue eyes. His face is unusually stern and cold. He wears a dark green cloak that helps him blend in with what foliage is left in the world. It is dark enough that he blends in well with shadows. Though it is obvious he is human, people tend to steer clear of him as he reminds them of a Shifter. Short Biography: Marklin's parents were taken by Shifters when he was 7. His older sister, Beth, and himself managed to escape to a nearby village. When he was 14, his sister died from starvation. It wasn't long after, that the Shifters attacked that home as well. Forced to flee yet again he found himself fighting for his life against both man and beast. Moving from settlement to settlement, he never stayed in one place more than a month. During the next 10 years he taught himself to use calls and wield a hand axe as both a tool and weapon. Now...he has found himself in a small village surrounded by a rare forest and mountains. Though peaceful for the time being, he knows it will not last. Guardian Name, Appearance, and Asset: Alcrass, A black Eagle, Defense Asset Weather Call 1: Marklin can cause a torrent of large hailstones to fall onto his enemies. Call 2: Whirlwind: Used more as a stun and distrupt attack. Tool/Weapon: Hand axe * * * Name:Mira Gender: female Appearance: 5 ft 8 simple adventurer cloths. Brown short wavy hair clear skin green eyes. Short Biography: She lived with a band of traveling performers all her young life and has seen many strange places and met many people. On one such travel she met a rouge shifter living with humans. For the short time she stayed there the two played with each other often, developing a small friendship. Eventually however she had to leave and never saw him again. Years later her family of performers disbanded caught up in the war that was now raping the land, she has lost many family members and is currently alone in on the roads traveling here and there. She wishes to leave this place and find a home where humans and shifters can live in peace, she believes it's possible if people would just try. To that end she is searching for Shifters who share her views to help her find a new kingdom where all are equal. Guardian Name, Appearance, and Asset: her guardian is a large doe (Like the elder doe from Exzalia) it grants him a very large speed boost. Allowing her to run like a deer. It also has sharp antlers to fight with. Call 1: pressure, She can manipulate gravity making it harder for foes to move. combo's well with her guardians speed boost. Call 2: ice storm, a gust of cold wind freezes the opponents further making fighting difficult, she can also freeze the ground. Tool/Weapon: wooden staff, made of sturdy wood, it can even block sword strikes Other: Living on the road, her family taught her how to fight. She isn’t violent but she is no weakling. * * * Name: Artanis Walks-With-Wind Age: 26 Gender: Male Appearance: Artanis has olive skin and long black hair that he keeps in a long braid down his back. He has distinct, hawk like features, and piercing green eyes that are ringed with blue on the outside, and have yellow bursts around his pupils. His body is Lithe and strong, with corded muscles showing that he's had a hard life filled with hard work. He wears a heavy fur cloak wrapped around his shoulders, but beneath that he has a light leather vest and linen trousers. On his right bicep is a strange runic tattoo. Short Biography: Artanis was born far away in the south. His family was murdered by human raiders when he was very young, and he was taken captive, and sold as a slave. He was passed around from owner to owner before finally escaping into the winter wilds with nothing but a stolen dagger and a bow. He'd killed six men in his escape. Ever since, he's live alone, wandering the wilds, stopping in towns now and then to sell pelts from the animals he's hunted. Guardian Name, Appearance, and Asset: Higgara, the Wind Caller. A giant hawk with black wings, a red tail and a grey head. It's eyes are yellow. Speed Asset, boosts Artanis' speed and ability to avoid attacks. Call 1: Spirit, Higgara is summoned as a familiar for a short period of time, fighting along side Artanis and dealing massive damage to any who dare stand in his way. Call 2: Pressure, Artanis makes the air around an enemy super pressurized, causing them agony and inability to breath, for a short time. Tool/Weapon: A long bow inlaid with the bone of a Shifter. It takes tremendous strength to draw, but fires with incredible speed. Artanis also carries a plain steel dagger. * * * Name: Myrhhtide Hollowell (pronounced, MURR-TIED) Age: 26yrs old Gender: Female Appearance: Tall, light caramel skin, thick black hair, fit body Short Biography: Born and raised in a secluded lodge in the woods by her witchy mother and her zombielike dad. Myrrhtide soon discovered that her mother Vadelia was run out of her village because she wiled other people's boyfriends and used her despicable potions to make other women sterile, sick, or even comatose. Myrrh's dad Thomas was the son of the blacksmith, a strapping muscle-y lad, who felt bad for Vadelia and went into the woods to bring her food and water. Vadelia tricked him into drinking a potion that made him her mindless slave and she used him to cut the wood to build her cabin and for other pleasures. She accidentally got pregnant with Myrrhtide and no matter how many slimy black potions she drank, the baby inside her just wouldn't die, and so Myrrhtide was born. When Myrrhtide turned 26, her evil mother finally died in her sleep. Her dad had been dead for five yrs. Myrrhtide buried Vadelia next to Thomas's grave and puttered around the lodge for a couple weeks befor deciding to leave the nest, and that's where she comes in... Guardian Name, Appearance, and Asset: Myrrhtide's Guardian is a huge raven with a wicked sharp beak and talons. It grants her a Power Asset, strengthening her when she is weak. Call 1: Spirit, call forth her Guardian or other local deities to aide her in battle. Call 2: Weather, conjure a mini-cyclone or call down lightning. Tool/Weapon: Long double-bladed spear, usually kept strapped to her back (taken from her dead father's shed) Humans: Spoiler Name: Rafael Sherwood Age: 17 Gender: Male Appearance: Stands about 5'8 tall. Has short, dirty blonde hair and very light freckles in his face. Gray-blue eyes. Is somewhat thin for his age, but strong. He wears a combination of rough spinned tunics and strips of leather armour that he has scavenged together.* Main Tool/Weapon: Bow. Special Weapon: none. Guardian Name, Appearance, and Asset: *none. Short Biography: Rafael is one of the few survivors of the endless winter. Both his parents and his younger brother have been enslaved by the Shifters and he has tagged along with some other survivors for two years. He is a skilled hunter, but there is very little game around. He is gentle hearted and cares for others more than himself. He has a blind hate for everything that is not human (due to the capture of his parents). He spends most of his time making arrows which he sells to the other villagers. Most of the time he is sitting outside his self-made hut, which is located near the wooden wall that surrounds the village. It is quite cramped but he only sleeps there. He eats at the local inn. * * * Name: Leila Scarlet Age: 19 Gender: Female Appearance: Stands at 5'6. Has long light brown hair parted in the middle that's slightly wavy and always messy and tangled. Her eyes are a deep brown and her right eye is always covered by her long bangs, for a reason unknown to strangers. Has a slim build, but very muscular, especially in her legs. She can be seen wearing clothing that she's stripped off poor souls: Tight black pants, fur boots that lace up to the knee, an off-white tunic, and a heavy brown fur cloak. Guardian Name, Appearance, and Asset: (If special is gemstone necklace) N/A Main Tool/Weapon: A medium-sized knife. Used mostly for intimidation or distraction. Special Weapon: Gemstone Dagger Short Biography: Bitterness and resentment rule Leila's life, revealing the scars of her childhood. Her mother abandoned her in the market streets when she was two. A kind family took the screaming toddler into their home, but growing up Leila secretly hated her "family". With not even a plan in mind she decided to run away on a whim at the age of thirteen. Since having only her knife and some stale bread, Leila had to learn to sustain herself by stealing. She proved to be a worthy pickpocket...and a fast runner too. After a few months on her own she found out by word of mouth that her “family” had been raided by Shifters and probably left for dead. Upon hearing the news all she did was shrug her shoulders, glad she hadn’t been there for the ride. * * * Name: Tim Walkers Age: 10 Gender: Male Appearance: Stands about 4'7 tall. Has half short hair that hovers just above his brow on his forehead. He has dark brown eyes and a slightly pale skin with an almost constant, slight red blush to it, from the biting cold. He has a small nose and thin lips. His brows are thin and tinted a light brown. He wears a rough, green tunic with a ragged jacket over it. He wears worn out three-quarter pants and walks on the remains of two oversized shoes. Last, but not least, he also wears a gray cap on top of his head, which is practically the only thing keeping him warm. Main Tool/Weapon: dagger. Special Weapon: Gemstone dagger Guardian Name, Appearance, and Asset: *none. Short Biography: Tim Walkers is an orphan. His father died of a disease before he was born and his mother died of birthing him. At the time of his birth, circumstances were already abysmal, especially for a woman with no property or money. He was taken in by a very rich gentleman as a servant. At the time of his arrival he has just fled his abusive patron and his been walking alone, out in the cold for three consecutive days. Note: Tim has a fair amount of backstory but I feel its much better to develop and veal that as we go than to sum it all up here. All the bare essentials are written down above. * * * Name: Dontaru Age: 23 Gender: Male Appearance: Tall and buff. A very heavy asset. Main Tool/Weapon: Crossbow Special Weapon: Gemstone sword Short Biography: Dontaru was born with a mother and father. A normal human family until the Shifters came. The Shifters took everything and killed his family. Ever more searching revenge, he walks through forests, looking for Shifters to track and kill. Other: Very slow. Has long endurance at a slow pace. Shifters: Spoiler Name: Wallace Callahand aka Wally Age: 22 Appearance: Wally looks like your average shifter. You know tall, yellow eyes and what not. He's white and has brown hair that falls in front of his face. He is normally dressed in casual clothing the kind humans wear but enjoys being dressed for nicely most of the time. He's actually quite good looking...he has a firm face and his eyes have a tendency to shine when he's happy. His smile practically lights up a room and he's built with a good deal of slender muscle. Appearance Wolf: I can't shape shift! I'm a human dammit! (Lol you shall find out....he doesn't like to talk about it) Rank: Rouge (For good reason) Short Biography: Wally had a bit of a complicated childhood. After some unfortunate events as a baby he ended up in the arms of a loving elderly couple. One problem he was a shifter but the couple didn't care....and they raised him as their own. In short he is a shifter brought up by humans. Wally considers himself a human and you'd be wise not to try and argue with him about it. In general Wally is really an all round friendly, sweet and nice guy.....that is trying to live a nice life as a human. But one little problem despite being raised a human he still has the violent instincts of a shifter. Which means he has a tendency to be quick to violence and breaking things...namely people. The anger problem arises a lot of different ways but the biggest way to make him go berserk is call him a monster or keep calling him something other than human. To be fair....he can't control when he goes into a violent rage. His body sort of just goes off animal like instinct. He's never killed anyone but he used to get in literally hundreds of fights as a kid. For one he was a shifter and two his anger. So he never really had any friends and since he's human D) he want's nothing to do with shifters. So he's sort of lacking with social skills and really just wants some friends. Also when he is angry...its to the extreme. I mean lots of screaming, attacking and throwing things. The guy goes completely ape for a period of time even might go wolf and then just calms down like nothing happened. He will of course always apologize for his outburst. Tool/Weapon: His fists. Wally is quite powerful in the art of physical combat to a very high point. But it works most well when's angry when the adrenaline's going the guy hit's like a Juggernaut. Other: Doesn't hit women/Beats up guys that hit women/He enjoys living a nice human life/Does not like being pissed off/ and most of all just wants to be a good person. * * * Name: Mandolin Silver Paw Age: Whatever young adult is for a shifter Appearance (When human): Tall with Silver Hair and eyes. Even in human form he has wolfish features. Appearance (When wolf): Silver fur mixed with black and brown along his haunches. His shoulder is 4,5 feet off the ground. Rank: Raider Short Biography: He is a Shifter, plain and simple. He lives for the thrill of the hunt. He has lived his whole live in and around the fortress, and is a loyal follower of the Shifter way. Tool/Weapon: None, he scorns the pathetic human ways, preferring to fight as a wolf. * * * Template for Shifter Character: Name: Perrin Age: 20 Appearance (When human): He's lean and tall, his dark hair hanging down into his face, without him bothering too much. Appearance (When wolf): He's a coal black wolf. Not so strong in comparison to his kind. he has long legs, perfect for running long distances really fast. Rank: scout Short Biography: He's always been fast. Because of that he lost his best friend. (you'll figure it out) He blames himself, and need something to do at all times to keep his mind occupied. Tool/Weapon: He carries a bow and some arrows. Though he prefers not to fight. Bulletin Board: We could use more Shifter Characters, as with only two playing currently Batos's side of the story might end up just fading out, and he answers a lot of questions on that side. Glad to have you on board LtW -i hope to have at least five people on and three at the least, and if no one is a Shifter I'll skip Batos's point of view entirely which will leave a few gaps, but i designed this story to be able to be split in half and survive.
I am gonna post somwhere tomorrow and, like I said, I think ill add a female char. Oh and ltw, kudos to you for being in so many stories. I keep a close watch on how many rp's I am in because my quality (if I have any) tends to suffer when I am involved in so many stories at once.

Ah for a minute there i thought you'd figured out the fourth "race" (that will be available in the second version of this game) but good job anyways. Hmmm . . . since he is rogue and likes humans i would suggest that he live near the village, but if you want him near the Shifters then have him stay by the coast k?

My character is going to have alot of prejudice against your character. Expect intresting conflict...
@Ltw: What? Has your character never seen a human before!? Why is he predjudice against his own kind? Just joking. LOL so far all the players will probably be prejudice against Wally. Which is on their heads if they want to get him angry.....its almost scary how quick he can change and he hates that about himself. He just wants to be normal.....and have friends.
