The tiny moments of infinite beauty

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Hwaigon, Dec 10, 2015.

Earlier today I was sitting in an old building reading the Bible when I heard a piano play this beautifully
haunting, gleeful music in one of the above floors. It sounded as if from a distance but it trembled the inner
heartstrings within me. The mystery of it, you know. Not knowing who the player was, what the song was, who wrote it, the intimacy of the whole thing. Just knowing the music reaches something infinite with you, in you.

What are such moments for you?

    1. When I cuddle my baby girl after being away for a few hours :)

    2. When I ride across the bridge and have a view of Prague on a sunny day - or alternatively, when I look down at Prague from the hill on Letna on a sunny day - and I'm amazed that I live here.

    3. The first time my baby smiled at me. She woke up in the middle of the night - it must have been 2, 3am. I picked her up but she wasn't crying. She just lay in my arms in the dark. I could see her face in the pale moonlight that filtered through the curtains, and those big dark eyes of hers. She just looked at me, as if transfixed by me, her eyes focusing. Then a tiny smile blossomed on her lips - one of those small, secret smiles as if saying "I know you". I still remember her expression in that moment. She was probably a month old at the time, no older than two months.

Yesterday this girl passed me in tight sweats. Wide, tight ass, with the cleft in the middle. Left and right, left and right. Jesus Christ, I just stopped and stared.

First Hwaigon leads off the thread with a reflective image, reading from not just any book, but the Good Book, while mysterious and beautiful music wafts thru an old building--then our friend 1 thru 9 reminds us not to forget the beauty to behold in a voluptuous feminine ass. What a diverse cultural world we live in!

To the OP; When I see a picture of a big city (typically London) and am glad that I live in a place where a tree is just one of many in a forest/woodland/coppice, rather than an object of admiration for being unique and solitary.

When I was passed my newborn, I barely registered she was there lol. I was just crying non-stop for no reason for the next half an hour or so.

And that's why school uniforms are a good thing. I've never known there was an issue because it just didn't exist in the UK. And in my social circle I hung out with the youth group from church, so, again, not much of an issue around me lol.

I'm not an easy guy to jerk a tear from, but the Friday evening 'On the Road' segment on the CBS Nightly News (6:30 PM EST) does it, more often than not.

When I can reach my grandson's heart (he's only 11) with my sign language and finally 'connect' with him. The older grandkids (ages 14 and 15) 'get it'..... but to touch this kid's heart.......that's it.....that's the magic that makes the music soar. :)

Agreed. But I can't see implementation of uniforms anytime soon. The general voice is that it's too stifling and formal.

    Tho'

you sound like a Bukowski poem...or Germaine Greer on 'young men.'

    Still...pioneering and bold, just about.

I actually thought I'd reply to this before I read the comments and became completely bummed out by the fact that women and young girls are so nonchalantly seen as meat, and the ever so common mentality which follows: "it's not my fault, it's their fault."

Now the only thoughts on my mind are that I need to raise my son to be better than that, and perhaps I should homeschool my daughter so she's not degraded and preyed upon by her male teachers.

    Le sigh

(ps - I know that @123456789 is a wicked little antagonist, so I'd not have taken it too seriously if shit didn't get so, so real with the comments that followed)

Edit: tl;dr Hwaigon entered a complicated dangerous zone with his comment but portraying him like a sexual offender-to-be is out of proportions. I am sure he did not mean it the way it came across for some

Now, I'm in doldrums because the message was not received. I hate to spark up heated discussions but let me put this perfectly
clear: Viewing women/girls as a piece of meat runs contrary to my creed, both as a man and a teacher. At the same time, they do bear responsibility for the way they dress up, especially when intending to stress certain parts, at which they excel. Once this year nine girl (which looked graduate) came to school with a blouse so filmy it looked like a crocheted curtain. Well, she at least wore a bra underneath.
If a girl presents herself as a piece of meat, she will be seen as such.
And to answer the question of morality, it's the fault of both if both subscribe to it.

Thank you. I was really thinking whether I am a horny sex-machine after my post. Better not post danger zone topics next time.

    Fixed that for you.

I'm sure the girl wore that outfit because she was really hoping to get that creepy older teacher to ogle her breasts.

I'm sure her intention was to shock everybody, at which she succeeded. And I'm dropping this topic, 'cos it's not leading
    anywhere.

The girls, the boys are adolescents in their own playground, maybe call it their school. Along - with everything else taught on the curriculum, they are also learning about sex, sexuality, experimenting among themselves, having a laugh, actually.

Yes sometimes, perhaps wearing a short skirt, or rolling it up to make mini-skirts - in front of the teacher is, yes, a very, very funny thing to do. But that's all it is.

...They are not 'horny little bitches' or 'tantalising,' or taunting anybody. A teacher knows the rules. A good teacher, a man, can handle 'attention' from young people . Don't take advantage of this. Mind your business.

You break the rule - as a teacher - you're a fool, might lose your job, and you might go to prison.

Already the discussion makes me feel way too uneasy. Never said I've taken advantage of the teens' advancements.

"They are not 'horny little bitches' or 'tantalising,'"
    You'd be surprised.

Thanx for reminding me the rest. I'm not an idiot, you know.
