I liked House of Wax and I thought Paris was quite good in it. Better than people had made out anyways.

I thought she was awful on a "Keanu-Reeves-Second-Two-Matrix-Films" scale.

Ermm, what?? lol. And honestly, she wasn't that bad considering she is not a professional actress.

Can I ask, what did everyone think of Lost in Translation?? My mam and everyone else got bored after 20 minutes and left but I loved it. It is meant to be one of those films to see before you die and I was wondering what everyone else thought?

Ah Paris Hilton, I still don't know why she is famous.

Another bad film... The new War of the Worlds.
I have a strange hatrid of pritty much all Stephen Spealburg films.
He is just overrated in my books.

Also, the film had so many contradictions and plot holes, it wasn't worth the £10 spent on it

A quick search on google will tell you ;)
Might need to tweak your filter settings though.
And it's not really particularly impressive.

And after all that, I will STILL echo Lemex's question.

With all the other rich, vapid, party animal celebrities out there, WHY is she famous?

It'll be interesting to see what will happen after all of these celebrities like Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie grow older and lose their young sex appeal. That's basically why their famous, in my opinion... they have sex appeal and sex sells.

Apparently you can mean that two ways with Paris Hilton.

I don't find them at all appealing, whether or not they are peeling.
I'm unimpressed that they have discovered sex like a shiny new toy.

Have you seen the magazine ads for her new perfume? The poses she is in, and the outfits she is wearing, should be in some Playboy magazine and not a magazine for teenagers.

    It disgusts me.

Maybe we should get back on topic, which is Bad Movies, not Skank of the Year.

    Another springs to mind.

Batman and Robin. Starring Goerge Clooney. That guy almost destroyed the Batman movie franchise. Wow was he crap and Joel Schumacker who directed it made an aweful job of directing it. And Annie well need I say more.

Can'tplace all the blame on Clooney for that disaster. Ahnuld as Mr Freeze, Uma Thurman as Poison Ivy, and worst of all, Alicia Silverstone as Batgirl? Add to that horrible dialog, and the rest of the writing was pretty much crap too, and the whole tinsel look for Gotham...

So what were the good points of the movie?
    It didn't star Adam West.

I forgot to add that to my post. If you're talking the remake with Clooney then I sat through having no idea what was going on and really couldn't find anything to take away from it.

I never realized that Solaris with Clooney was a remake. But it was truly awful.

Oh christ how that made the big screen was a miracle.

Another springs to mind. And it was bad. Ewoks the battle for Endor. My son made me buy him it on dvd its two films ewoks and ewoks battle for Endor both equally as bad and oh boy did Gearge let that film go. I bet if he were dead he'd be rolling turning in his grave it was aweful

    Snakes on a Refund

Snakes on a Plane. Mr. Jackson may have been sick of those mother ****ing snakes on that mother ****ing plane, but I was sick of the movie when I saw a crate full of snakes with a timer on it. I sat through the movie, but I wanted my money back, and I got it free from Netflix. I'll never get that two hours back. And I'll never see anything as horrible as that movie, ever, evar again. EVAR. Or so I hope.

You know, I read the book. I watched one scene and almost laughed my ass off of how bad it was. I could have sworn Durza didn't ride a flying smoke thing. To be fair though, the book is good, but still Dragon-Star Wars.

I know I can't be the only one who thinks Chris O'Donnel in that movie looked like Eminem, can I?

    Also: Evar.

A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

That was the most idiotic movie I have ever seen. I could not follow the plot for more than five minutes. What were they doing? Looking for the ultimate question. Did they find it? I still do not know.

I seriously think it's the worst thing ever :p My friend and I were so disgusted we turned it off within the first 30 minutes. It was just so bad. *shudder*

Ditto this. They had Cadet Kelly on TV a few weeks ago. I couldn't understand it...I mean...why? Just, why? It was so bad.

Ditto to this. It made it worth watching :)

I think a combination of all three :p Plus with the sexual assault thrown in there it really was the most unbearable thing.

I think 40 Year Old Virgin also comes close.

I'll give it that, but I still think it's still the worst movie ever :)

I agree with this, it was just awful. I own it...not sure why.
