    Rodger wanted to scream.
    His legs felt like they were on fire. Blood flowed freely from the reopened wounds, as he ran limping through the woods. The hoots and howls of the orcs and goblins surrounded him.
    They were being cautious, hounding him, weakening him, before they moved in for the kill. It was also more fun watching him scramble through the woods like a frightened rabbit.
    Rodger had only his dagger, his staff with the hidden sword, and he was down to his last throwing knife. He wasn't throwing them at the Goblins anymore, but when an orc moved in too closely he was forced to use them. He might have even hit one of them.
    The worst part was, they were forcing him further and further from the road. He had no idea where he was, but from the thickening trees, civilization and help was a long ways away.
    Rodger screamed as his good knee slammed into a hidden log. He fell hard. The hoots turned to laughter, and an orc yelled out orders in its primitive tongue.
    He struggled to his feet, in time to see an enormous 8 foot tall orc run through the trees at him, a savage axe raised in its hands. A small pack of goblins were just behind it. Rodger felt something wet and warm trickle down his legs.
    Only one chance.
    He fell forward, letting his legs apparently give out. The orc yelled its war cry, and moved in faster, heedless of any danger in its blood lust. Rodger screamed, and watched as the orc started to swing its axe towards his head.
    NOW!
    Rodger used his good leg to spring forward as the orc was momentarily off balance. The axe whistled past Rodger's body, as the axe hit the ground Rodger was beside the orc. He plunged the large dagger into the back of the orcs knee. There was no way he could kill the orc quickly enough. But a wound like that would slow it down.
    As the orc fell, its knees buckling, the goblins behind it attacked. Rodger swung his staff, battering his way through them. Using the energy of the desperate, he moved erratically, keeping his cloak spinning, trying to keep the goblins blades away from his body.
    Arrows were fired. Rodger grabbed his cloak, covering his head with the leather and metal. He felt the small arrows, almost darts, clanging off the metal plates, and embedding themselves in his padded armour. He didn't know if he was hurt, but if he was it wasn't anywhere vital.
    As he came out of some bushes, he slide to a halt, heedless of the arrows. A large cliff was before him.
    The goblins and the orcs were coming closer now. He could see them in the trees, and the arrows were still flying. He looked down the cliff, at least fifty feet, with a river at the bottom. No way to know how deep it was.
    Without thinking, he jumped.
    He hit the water hard, feet first. All too quickly his feet hit the bottom. His knees bent painfully, and he lost most of his air in a scream.
    The current grabbed his body as he tried to reach the surface. It bounced him off of rocks forcing the rest of the air out of his lungs.
    He heard a bone crack.

    Arthurus climbed as swiftly as she could. A prestigiously designed artificial lake was overlooking the hilly areas. She stopped for air every now and then, but she was committed to a good climb. She wouldn't have stopped otherwise but then another hinderence came to her. Passage guards.

    A fat, charcoal-like man pulled her behind as he hopped onto the stone staircase which led to a small cabbage farm and the commericialized zone of the luxury town of Tribula.
    "M'Lady, hold yer hourses. Does thee knoweth where you head?"
    "Forgive me, but I am in a hurry."
    "No hurries! Do three have the jack?"
    "Money?"

    Arthurus trembled, turning pale. For the first (or third time) was she going to say no.
    "Yes, the money as the elite say."
    "No..."
    "No? Are you a runaway daughter of an aristrocrat who wishes you to marry a noble?"
    Arthurus stared at him heatedly. Her parents knew better than to do that.
    "Certainly not. I'm a mother of a capable warrior and definitely older than you, young sir. Now please let me pass. I can't give you money now, but I promise that when I return I'd hand you as much money as needed!"
    "I'm sorry, M'Lady, but I desire not to let go of a young maiden whose parents would seeketh her. Now stay here with me, and I'll inform the patrol."
    "I'm not a ruanaway bride! I swear upon God!"
    "Now, now, I don't believe in God."
    "Outrageous. Simply."
    Arthurus puffed, worn out completely. He didn't even notice her skin melting.

    As the man informed his servant of the issue, Arthurus thought of cheating. After all, this wasn't right. Her life was in danger, and possibly if she didn't move form here right now the Red Dragon Pearl could land in the hands of a wrong person. She had to get out of here.
    "SIRE! The girl!"
    The boy screamed, as he incidentally raised his eyes to see. The guard rushed to his table and picked up the horn, and blowing it hard. Arthurus kept running, despite the fact that a whole army was after her now. Children pointed at her and some threw fuit; adults tried to grab her while the animals scorned at her. He was raised from a helpless runaway bride to a terrorist. Sweet.

    Arthurus was being shot at, in defense to which she broke off a stall and used the broken plank of the wooden table as a shield. Running out of the marketplace, she felt vulnerable. A force of soldiers was coming from behind the pass, to add to the army which was already after her. She took a deep breath and looked in front of her. The river. I have no choice.

    SPLASH!

    Rodger struggled to the surface. The current was still sweeping him along, but he could at least breath now.
    Too tired to swim, he merely tried to stay above the water. The current was spinning him too much to focus on anything. His back suddenly hit something hard stopping him instantly.
    Carefully turning around he saw the pile of dead wood piled up in a log jam. Finally he could get to shore. He also saw his staff sticking out of the confused jumble of wood. Rodger finally stopped wishing he could just die a quick painless death.
    Wincing as he moved with his ribs at least cracked if not broken, he made his way to shore. Hiding under some bushes he fell into a deep, exhausted sleep.

    Arthurus fought through the water, overjoyed in a way. The pass was right past her, and she was heading to Intharisp. But her realistic side thumped her head, saying:
    "M'Dead, consider. You're heading for the waterfall alongside and your skin is dissolving in the river water. Piranhas anytime now."
    Yuck.i

    Arthurus swam hysterically now, her dress falling prey to the waterfall. Luckily, she found a trail of rocks to grab on and she made sure she did. She pulled her self, basing her abdomen on the rocky shore and finally pushed herself to dry ground (which wasn't so very dry anymore). She panted for an extensive time period, then got up and started to fix her hair, glacing in the water.
    "Huh, I look even younger! No wonder. My skin's dying down."
    She said unconciously, and then twisted her clothing a little, drying it out. Feeling better, she turned towards the city of Intharisp. She was going quite well until she stepped on a soft ground. She heard a painful grunt and then she felt blood on her shoeless feet. She freaked out a little, and looked down to see Rodger drenched and worn out. The poor bug had been through something.

    Arthurus was now battling her own self. She could take all her anger out and kill him. It wasn't difficult at all, in his state of desperation. But another side of her asked her to have some mercy. She then thought of Revianne, her daughter. How she told Arthurus, about an enemy soldier who had rescued her and sent her to her camp without any exchange of words, or violence. Maybe...maybe this was what she should do too.

    Arthurus pulled up Rodger, and with all her might and effort, swung him on her back. She felt like she had picked up a horse, but she struggled through it anyways. Walking barefoot to Intharisp, she kept praying that Rodger wouldn't wake up. He didn't.
    "M'Lady, oh dear lady, you look like you're in great mess!"
    A passing by gentleman stopped his carriage and got off, helping Arthurus.
    "I'd be very grateful if you took me and my brother to the Healing Spa nearby."
    "But of course, M'Lady. Your features remind me of-"
    "Demise. Am I not right?"
    "But of course! Demise, Demise is her penname. She's a good lady. I will surely help you."
    The man quickly helped Rodger on the carriage, taking Arthurus's hand and securing her in the carriage. And off they went.

    "You seem to have gone through much injustice."
    "Do not ask, my fellow man. I just wish to take this man to safety."
    "A good sister you are."
    "I doubt."
    Arthurus still felt guilty for have been a little harsh to him, no matter how much of a headache he was. He did keep his promise, of defending her, and that's all that mattered. But she didn't keep him safe. She was such a jerk.

    The carriage stopped in front of a lavishly built Healing Spa. Arthurus escorted the servants to the Doctor, making sure Rodger was in good hands.
    "Treat him like you'd treat a King."
    She whispered to the Doctor, who asked rudely:
    "And why? Is he the King of Wales?"
    "No, but I'm sister of Demise Walter Dips. She is a partial ruler of this city, if you must."
    The Doctor's face turned pale and she nodded. Arthurus turned to leave, but then stopped.
    "But please be instructed, that this man must not know how he came here."
    Arthurus got that communicated to the nobleman as well, who now escorted her to the Grand library of Intharisp.

    A woman dressed in golden silk was going through a scroll concerning the prediction of war a century later. Writing down notes, she settled her glasses once more, and then coughed a little.
    "Madeli! More soup."
    She ordered, and her maidservant immediately ran into the kitchen. Suddenly, there was a hesitating voice heard in the hall.
    "Madame, a woman has come to meet you."
    "The Library is closed today. Can't you tell her that?"
    "She isn't here for that, Madame. She says she's Arthurus Dephline, daughter of Walter Dephline."
    The woman's eyes lit up, and in between tears of joy, she screeched:
    "Let her in, my servant!"

    I must be dead, Rodger thought.
    He wasn't lying on hard ground. He wasn't deathly ill and soaked to the skin by water. He wasn't in pain. He was actually comfortable. He wasn't even very hungry. He had to be in Heaven.
    He opened his eyes, and tried to sit up. There was the pain. The room was spartan but nice. It was very clean, and the furnishings were expensive enough. The mattress was finer then his own bed at the castle.
    A jug of water, and a plate of food was beside the bed. He started eating, nervously wondering what would happen next. Every time things had seemed to be going well, they ended badly. It was almost like some tragic bard's tale.
    Eventually a servant entered.
    "Ah, my good fellow," Rodger said in his most charming tone, "could you please tell me where I am?"
    The servant smiled politely as he checked Rodgers' numerous bandages. "You are in the the Golden Bush Healing Spa of Intharisp."
    Rodger smiled as he heard where he was. "May I also inquire who brought me here? I was hardly in any condition to move earlier, and would like to thank my benefactor."
    "I'm sorry Sir. That person strictly informed us they would like to remain anonymous."
    Rodger cocked his head slightly considering this. The servant hadn't even let slip if the person was male or female. It would take time, effort, and probably money to wean it out of him, and he didn't have enough of any of that. "Very well," Rodger finally said. "Could you tell me what is wrong with me and how long I should, and can, stay here for?"
    The servant nodded his head. "You lost a fair amount of blood, and your legs are badly cut. Nothing serious enough to debilitate you, but the sheer number is impressive. You also cracked three ribs, but they should heal nicely. The rest are bruises, and small cuts, nothing to worry about. Doctor Wellington says you should be able to leave your bed tomorrow, but you should rest for at least a week. As for how long you remain here, you can leave anytime you wish, but as long as you need healing we ask that you stay with us, or at least return by early nightfall if you need to do things around the city."
    "Excellent," Rodger exclaimed. "May I ask your name, dear fellow?"
    "Melvin, sir."
    "Well Melvin, you may call me Rodger when we are alone, and Sir Rodger of Redcliff Keep, if you insist on being formal," he said cheerfully, as he leaned back comfortably on the soft bed.

    Arthurus puffed perfume over herself, gazing into the huge mirror. Krinile, her half-sister, was still busy with the maidservant. Arthurus then pondered whether everything was actually going well. Her potion would be there any minute, her flying carpet had been sent to the magic laundrers and both her orb and staff were been polished. She had been provided new clothes, and in order to facilitate her travels, she had chosen shirts and warrior pants instead of gowns (of course, for the sake of disguise she had a few 'convertible' gowns and jewelry). She had taken a luxurious bath and her money problems had been taken care of. It still seemed like a fairytale. She thought about it again and again to confirm whether it was a dream or not.

    "Arthurus, here's your medication. Take it quickly - I can see your blood flowing."
    Krinile entered the room, breaking the silent symphony that had been in the air. Arthurus smiled and drunk it quickly, not even stopping to breathe. Once again, her skin was lively and restored to its natural constistency. Arthurus couldn't help but smile like idiot as Krinile had favored her once more.
    "You look upset in a weird sort of way."
    "Kree, I think I'm smiling."
    "I know you better. You smile crazily when you're upset."
    Arthurus sighed, and put down her necklace she had been playign with.
    "How will I ever repay you?"
    "Nonsense. This isn't a loan. This is my love for you, my dear sister. And I will not ask compensation."

    "Your love is too heavy to take. I must repay you."
    "Angel, stop being silly. I will never ask for anything in exchange."
    "But of course, a caring maiden like you will not! But I must give you something, for I am too a woman of values. Tell me, what do you want?"
    Krinile played with her hair, and then said:
    "What you are destined to find."
    "Pardon?"
    "The Red Dragon Pearl. Find it, sister, and I shall be most concerted."
    "But-"
    "Nothing more. Ha, if you still wish to fulfill your duty as a good person, I shall take a quarter of the reward the King gives you."
    "That is well, then. I shall succeed nowthat I have your opinion."
    "Please do not burden yourself!"
    "Love is, not a burden, my maiden."

    Arthurus then suddenly thought of someone else. Rodger.
    "Say, Kree, can you do me a hefty favor once more?"
    "But of course!"
    Krinile, who was almost lost in thought, snapped back into reality.
    "My brother, as I may relate to him, is in this city. Please, could you do the honor of keeping him away from me?"
    "Brother?! I thought Markau died last decade?"
    "Not Markau. Consider him a spiritual brother."
    "Ah...is a man bothering you? I shall have him slaughtered!"
    "No, no, he's a good man. But...we must not meet. I would want information on him all the time, so that I know what to do."
    "Fair. Who is he?"
    "Sir Brave Rodger of Redcliff Keep. He's supposed to be in the Healing Spa right now, booked as a reference of your penname."
    "I see, I see. I'll make sure of this."
    Krinile turned to leave, when Arthurus spoke out again:
    "And - don't let him know who you are, either."
    "I guess I can do that."

    As Krinile left the room, Arthurus got worried. Would Rodger be alright? Would he live? Arthurus was too puzzled to even wait. Well, she didn't have to wait, she could ask. Informing the maidservant of her intentions in a light tone, she headed to the spa, disguised as a commoner. She was wearing a farmgirl's attire with her hair tied in two braids and her face darker than usual. Slowly, she made way into the office.
    "Yes?"
    The receptionist didn't even look up.
    "I'm here to ask the condition of a man, with the reference of Demise Walter Dips?"
    "Yes, yes please."
    The receptionist immediately got up in respect, a little shocked to see a funny looking farmgirl.
    "Why do you wish to know?"
    "Am I answerable to yer mouth?"
    "No, not at all..."
    The receptionist was suspicious, but told her what she wanted to know.
    "Thank yer brains, darlin'. I must go now."
    Arthurus turned away, amused. It was fun.

    The receptionist immediately called for Melvin.
    "Yes ma'am?"
    "Keep an eye on Rodger. I think his life is in danger."
    "Why'd you say so?"
    "A farmgirl came to ask about his health. She may be from the opposition."

    Rodger rested peacefully in the room. Melvin came by frequently, which Rodger appreciated, it gave him a chance to talk to a friendly person. Melvin was also willing to supply pen and paper.
    He had been going about this search all wrong. A quest for the Pearl couldn't be done just by heading in a random direction hoping that chance would allow you to find it. No this must be properly planned.
    He spent the next several hours writing down all the rumours he could remember about the Pearl. Very few of them matched. But as he looked through his notes, and picked Melvins' brains of any rumours he knew, the most common theme involved mountains. Mountains were either the resting place for the Red Dragon Pearl, or it was where the Great Dragon who currently possessed the Pearl called home.
    The Pearl would most likely be near Dragons. If he could discover where a large number of Dragons rested, it might help him with the Pearl. Tomorrow he would have to search every book he could for details about Dragons.

    It never occurred to Rodger to realize that the quest he had never wanted to start, had begun to consume him.
    This might have been because he wanted to get home, and only by succeeding could he return. It might have been for the prestige and the money.
    Or there was a third reason, that he would never admit to anyone else. Rodger really hated being made a fool of, and too many things had made him look very stupid recently. If the Pearl was the only way to get revenge, so be it.

    Arthurus watched as Krinile searched through her journals. This was getting irritated now, and despite all their good relations, she wanted to throttle her. It had been an hour now. It was even more agitating since she was doing this on purpose. Krinile has just scolded Arthurus for have sneaked out without waiting. Like a big sister should.

    "Here it is. Shelf number 256 under the name 'Dragon legends'."
    "Are you telling me - that that's where the ENTIRE information on the pearl is?"
    "Don't be silly. Just the hints of the location."
    "WHAT?!"
    Arthurus shrieked. Like, after the King was going crazy for learning about this piece of knowledge, her sister was telling her clamly that it was resting in her clumsy library. This had to be a joke.
    "What?"
    "What do you mean? Like, you had this information ALL this time?"
    "That's why you came here, right?"
    "YES, but I expected to find a magical spell. Or some trick. Not a guide."
    "Chill. You haven't even read it. That is, if you get to read it."
    "Pardon?"
    Krinile closed her journal, sighing.
    "I don't know where shelf number 256 is."

    "Don't be ridiculous."
    Was all Arthurus could say. She asked for trickery - here it was.
    "This is a library of ancience, right? It's cursed. At least some doors. I don't know how to open it."
    "How could you not open a door you made?"
    Arthurus said rudely, stomping her foot on the floor.
    "Stop getting hysterical, Angel. I didn't make it, remember? I inherited it from my mother. And she inherited it from her mother. And so on. The real creator is lost to death."
    "Didn't she ever leave any message as to how these doors should be opened?"
    "She did. But I don't think you need it. All you can do now is...well...find a person who doesn't want to live."
    "Tell me what's the solution."
    Arthurus said demandingly, and Krinile sighed once more.

    "You must abandon something which makes you powerful."
    Arthurus thought for a moment, and then pondered: was this worth it? She had come in search of the pearl to make her life fun, but now she felt wrong. Life was never not fun. It was so full of fun. Seeing people and their lives, especially Rodger, she had realized the value of life. And for the sake of this value, she would do this.
    "I had come this far for amusement, but I am going further for mausing people, who have their lives in danger. Even being so old, some things are left unknown. But now, I'm willing to learn."
    Arthurus then ran down the hall, saying out loud:
    "I wish to sacrifice my most powerful blessing for the sake of the lives of the people at stake. If this provides me the book I want, then let it be!"
    Krinile came running, screeching:
    "Don't do this! We can have a commoner do this."
    "But I'm doing this for the common people. How could I let them suffer?"
    Arthurus said lightly, and then shouted out loud, again and again.
    "I WILL GIVE UP MY MOST POWERFUL BLESSING FOR THE SAKE OF THE LIVES OF THE PEOPLE!"
    After her throat was dry, she fell to her knees, exasperated. She had felt something had gone, but nothing seemed to be wrong. Suddenly the groan of a door opening was heard. Arthurus ran towards the left corner, where a door opened. Arthurus happily went inside, with Krinile trying to follow but the door closed on her. I wonder what I just sacrificed that I don't even know.

    Revianne lay aimlessly at the floor. She wanted to raise her neck, but she couldn't. Her entire body was in a state of pain - and yet numb again. She closed her eyes and felt a twitching occuring in her feet, and going upto her neck, like a soul rising. Last few things he heard and saw were brief. Madeline, her partner, sat beside her, crying.
    "Forget it Madeline. She's dead."
    "But how? She was fighting just right a minute ago. Suddenly her neck was hit with an arrow we don't even know who shooted? And she suddenly, just took off her hemlet? Even when at war? She knew better..."
    Madeline sobbed, and Maisa patted her back.
    "It's over. My wife, and your friend is dead."
    Maisa then whistled to his eagle, writing a note meanwhile.
    "Go, Rakaes, to her mother Arthurus. She would be suspended in dread to hear the bad news."
    A hot tear sprout out of Maisa's eyes.
    "Like me."

    Rodger woke up early the next day, the medicines he had been given had let him rest more comfortably then he had in years. His legs itched a little, a good sign they were healing, but that was his only complaint. With the help of his staff, he easily made it to the small dining room for patients able and willing to eat outside their rooms. He had a large stack of papers he had been writing on the day before with him to read as he ate.
    A serving girl brought him some thick, sweet porridge. Before he had finished eating, Melvin came over to him.
    "Sir Rodger," he said kindly, "you look well today."
    Rodger smiled, "Only because of your help. I don't want to think about what I'd look like if I wasn't here. Could you tell me where the best library is in the city? I need to discover all I can about dragons."
    Melvin looked shocked, "Surely it is too early yet for you to be going about the city. I don't think you could walk a more then a hundred meters."
    "My good man, I don't plan to walk," Rodger said laughing a little. "I have more respect for your knowledge then you seem to believe. I will hire a litter to and from the library, and once I am there I will be sitting for most of the day. My feet will barely touch the ground I assure you."
    The servant frowned. "If you are willing to wait but two hours, I will have a man from the Spa bring you to the library and wait for you until you are done. That way we can be assured you will have ready access to transportation."
    Rodger looked at the man in shock. "If you insist, I cannot possibly turn down your generosity. You are a good man Melvin."
    Rodger pulled a blank piece of paper out of the stack before him, along with a quill and bottle of ink from the bag he had carried them in. As Melvin watched Rodger quickly wrote on the paper, folding it up and sealing it with wax from a candle on the table, and his signet ring.
    He handed the sealed paper to Melvin. "If you are ever in the capital or near Red Keep in the East and you require lodgings, information, or just a meal, give this to anyone in my family or our servants. They will help you out as much as they can, once."
    Melvin took the paper and thank Rodger, as he walked away. He was use to receiving thanks and even the occasional gift, but this was still very generous of the young Lord.
    Rodger smiled. He would love to see the expression on his fathers face to see a mere servant walking up and showing him the letter. His father would be honour bound to support the letter, but he wouldn't enjoy it.
    Whistling he went to prepare for the day.

    Arthurus ecpected to see a brief shelf containing about 100 books or so, from which she could easily see the information she needed. However she was daunted in surprise when she came face-to-face with a humungous shelf at least a kilmometre long. There were books in it, yes, but could not possibly be counted and all her estimates seemed to fall in the lesser guesses. She took a deep breath and tried with the most common alphabetical intials the information would have. Naturally, she started with 'R'.
    "'Red Hawk's Dragon Slayer List'...'Rouge in a female dragon'...'Red'!"
    Arthurus stopped, having red the earlier title. But when the book was pulled out, she shook her head in defeat.
    "'Red...meat recipes for tamed dragons'."
    And so, the search possibly took several hours, from one letter to another. After sometime, Arthurus wanted to cry. Her knees shook like balls imbalanced on a sti9ck whilst her head was vibrating like a broken siren ringing within itself. She sat down, tired and helpless.

    She started breathed heavily on purpose, cooling herself down. She couldn't give up. (Though, for once she wished she had studied library magics in High school). She didn't realize as she started humming a tune and smile occured on ehr face. However, before it could incur to her that a woman was standing in front of her, with the library shrinking slowly, she fell asleep.

    When eyes met with air once more, she realized she must have been asleep for a long, long time. She felt something heavy on her lap, and as she stretched out her arms to refreshen herself, she realized it was a huge book. She read the title and gasped in victory.
    "'How to locate and summon a Red Dragon'!"
    She said it out loud to confirm it, and ran through the book. It was all there. Almost. But it was too good an achievement.
    Arthurus hugged the book, praying thanks to God before anything. Then, she thought how this had happened. She recalled seeing the woman and pondered about it. What had happened?

    ******

    Arthurus came out of the composed section, and the door locked up once more. Krinile got up from a small seat she had dragged in front of the door as a guard would.
    "What'd you get?"
    She asked excitedly, seeing a thick book in Arthurus's hands.
    "All I can handle for now. This book will help me find a Red Dragon."
    "Really?"
    Krinile had a high pitch in her voice, her brown eyes lighting up.
    "Yes, yes, yes!"
    Arthurus said excitedly.
    "I'll start with my journey tomorrow. And you never know, I might actually find something."
    "So what does it say?"
    "It's a little detailed, so I can't give you an overview right now. But as soon as i can put it in words properly, you're the man."
    "Ahem."
    "Lady."
    Krinile then slapped Arthurus's back as a sign of pride.
    "Go girl."
    "I will."

    Arthurus couldn't wait for tomorrow. She could barely finish dinner, and her stomach twisted and turned in bed.

    Rodger counted out his money as he waited for the litter to be prepared. It should be just enough to get him access to the library. He would have to do his own research, and he could only ask for limited assistance from the servants, but he would at least be in.
    Someone knocked on his door, Rodger called him in after he had scooped up his limited funds. A large, well dressed and armed servant entered. "Sir Rodger," the servant said in a deep voice, "I am Gaven. I am to escort you to the library and where ever else you may require."
    "Gavin it is a pleasure to meet you," Rodger said. "But is it necessary for you to be armed? I didn't realize this city was so dangerous."
    Gavin shook his head sadly, "There have been some attacks against important people. Rare, but they do happen. It would not do for someone in our care to be injured if we can prevent it. I am also to assist you in the library. Nobles are allowed to bring one servant to assist them. Melvin has asked that I have the honour of doing so."
    "An excellent precaution, and you have my deepest thanks. Please lead the way."

    The single seat wheeled cart was quite comfortable, and Rodger relaxed as a person pulled it through the busy street with surprising swiftness. Gavin ran alongside, occasionally clearing away obstacles that would otherwise slow them down.
    He saw the library rise up in the distance. It was the largest building in the area, at least five stories surrounded by a large park. Rodger hoped he wouldn't have to go to the top floor for the books.
    Doormen greeted them at the entrance, and assisted Rodger out of the seat. Gavin and Rodger were escorted into the entrance hall, where servants waited to deal with them. Rodger was puzzled to see the look on the younger servants face. He seemed almost shocked. The young man went through a small door quickly.
    The older servant came to them looking very at ease. "Greetings my lord. How may I help you?"

    The young servant broke into a run as the door closed behind him. The man they were told to watch out for was here. He had to tell Lady Krinile.

    Krinile was busy with a letter from The Duke of Liresa while Madeli massaged her sore feet.
    "MADAME!"
    John caming screeching inside tearing through the ground with a chaotic voice raging in the room. Madeli almost passed out while Krinile dropped the ink she was dipping her pen in.
    "Have peace of mind, John. This is a library, you know."
    "Sorry Madame. But we have a noble at the door."
    "Do I need to tell you this again and again? Nobles and invited guests WELL WELCOME!"
    "But...but..."
    "YES?"
    "He's the very man you warned us about. Sir Brave?"
    Krinile's reddened face became pale at once. Well, she had yet to send John to be updated about Rodger's discharge from the Healing Spa. But she couldn't deny his entry. She was licensed by the state educational ministry to allow invited guests and nobles inside. GREAT.
    "Well...ask him to wait outside. And dare not mention my name, or any guest staying here."
    "Yes madame."
    John fled back outside, and Krinile ordered Madeli:
    "Ask Arthurus to stay in her room until further notice. Provide her anything she needs. I'm going to handle this."
    Krinile elegantly walked outside, and soon joined in her older servant Abascus and the man.
    "Greeting, young sir. Abascus, you may leave."
    She butt in, and Abascus left.
    "Now, before you enter, would you kindly let me know why you're here?"

    Rodger bowed as the woman entered and dismissed the servant. Finally they might get somewhere. The servant had seemed very obtuse.
    "My Lady, I am Sir Rodger of Redcliff Keep, and this is my assistant Gavin," Rodger said as he got up from his bow. "I wish to spend the day looking through your library, specifically looking for any books you have on dragons. I have a donation to repay your generosity in opening your doors to humble scholars."
    Rodger watched carefully to see how the woman would react. This was not going as expected.
    "I am sorry Sir Rodger, but the library is currently closed due to unforeseen circumstances. Please return tomorrow," she said.
    Rodger frowned, this really wasn't going as he had planned. "My Lady, my time here is short. I am here as requested by the King. If you wish I will return to my lodgings and return tomorrow, but I will be forced to send a letter to my officials informing them why I am being held up."
    This was a feeble threat, and Rodger knew it. It would also be much easier just to return the next day, but something odd was happening here. He wanted to find out what. This was suppose to be the library of the Lady's sister, maybe she was here. He might be able to finally get some answers. Or at least a bag of her gold. He needed the funds.
    "Very well," the Lady said. "You may use the library, but I will be giving you a servant to ensure you do not inadvertently find yourself in danger."
    Rodger bowed and smiled, "My Lady is too kind."
    He waited for the servant, and tried to figure out how he could find out what he needed while the servant was watching.

    Arthurus was going to kill Madeli anytiem now. Yes, she had given her breakfast, lunch and what not. Even a doll to play with. But now it was getting irritated. She had planned such a long trip and Krinile was delaying it. As Arthurus scooped a clump of meat paste into her mouth, Krinile came running in.
    "FINALLY. What happened?"
    Arthurus retorted, and Krinile gestured her to calm down.
    "Sorry, Angel. But your 'spiritual brother' was causing trouble."
    Arthurus's eyes lit up and she said to Madeli:
    "You may leave."
    As soon as Madeli left, Arthurus grabbed hold of Kriniel by her shoulders and demanded:
    "What's happened?"
    "He's here. In the library."
    "WHAT?!"
    "I hadn't sent John to check if he were discharged as of yet. My bad."
    "This IS terrible..."
    Arthurus moaned, but very soon a wicked smile returned to her face.
    "Or not. I mean, you possibly don't know that there are certain doors of the library which cannot be accessed unless something is done?"
    "I...don't! Course I don't!"
    Krinile laughed, and then Arthurus looked into the mirror once more. Her black warrior pants, with a magenta shirt and a brief scarf hanging onto her front made her look wicked. Moreover, her long obsidian hair was now rolled into a bun.
    "I guess I'll leave now. Already late. I think you can keep that noble busy."
    Arthurus swung a small bagonto her shoulder, heading for the backdoor.
    "Good luck, Angel."
    "Thanks."

    ******

    Rakaes flew hi and lo, until he finally arrived at the mansion. A servant came running takign the note from the eagle.
    "Oh goodness! Lady Arthurus must learn of this immediately!"
    Tom thought, but was balnk otherwise. He didn't have a clue how to learn where Lady had mysteriously disappeared a week back. But he could tell this to her son-in-law. Attaching another note to the eagle, he let him fly back. Meanwhile, the servant stuffed back the letter in his pocket.
    "I'll tell her whenever she's back."
    He then stopped to say:
    "If she ever comes."

    This was pointless, Rodger groaned in despair.
    None of the books they had looked through so far were of any use. Only rumours, based on myths or 10th hand accounts. Where was the good stuff.
    Gavin and the Library servant Marian wouldn't let him actually stand up and look for himself. They insisted, forcefully, that he remain seated and they bring him all the books. It wasn't how he worked. He used his instincts, if he could at least look at the books he might see what he was looking for that wasn't in the directory.
    Marian came back from one of her searches, with a large stack of papers. Yet more useless things to look through, Rodger thought glumly. He started reading.

    An hour later he was halfway through the stack. It was all useless. Gavin sat beside him reading through papers apparently as bored as he was. Marian was waiting impatiently by the door. She didn't seem to like playing nursemaid.
    Rubbing his eyes, Rodger read the next piece of garbage.
    He paused. Trying to look unconcerned, he read it again.
    This was a newly written copy of a book. Something called 'How to locate and summon a Red Dragon'.
    Nonchalantly he started reading the papers beneath it. The copies were scattered throughout the pile. It seemed as if someone hadn't cared about the proper filing and just shoved them in where ever they would fit.
    Interesting.
    There were ten pages in total. They rambled a bit, but they said where the Pearl was rumoured to exist.
    He needed these papers, only problem was, he didn't have the money to buy them.
    "Marian, could you please find me the copy of 'Dragons of Summer'," he asked politely.
    As she left to get the book, Rodger turned to Gavin, "Gavin would you please go to the second floor and find me the copy of 'Journeys to the Red Dragon' again. If this paper is right I skipped over something very important."
    Once he was alone, Rodger quickly slipped the papers under his shirt holding them in place with his empty sheathes that normally held his throwing knives.

    That evening Rodger left the library, looking irritated. He loudly complained how the day had been utterly futile.
    On the way back to the spa, he began wondering how long it would take for the library to realize he had stolen the papers, and how best to leave town.

    ***
    Marian gratefully handed the piles of books to the servants. She hadn't enjoyed pretending to be one for that thief.
    She walked to Kriniles' office and entered uninvited with a single knock.
    "He stole the papers, you wanted him to have," she told her employer.
    Krinile looked surprised, "He stole them?"
    "Yep, he made sure both I and his servant were out of the room several times, and stole them at some point," she said.
    "Didn't he realize he could have bought them?"
    Marian shrugged her shoulders.
    "At least he has them," Krinile said at last. "We'll be able to keep an eye on him and eventually Arthurus. Good work."

    Arthurus trekked vigorously the forsaken terrain of the mountains. If only one could use a giant-sized machtete to cut off the peaks and make it flat. All better that way. She stopped as she saw a spring. It was cold up here, and the hot geysers was what she needs for some tea. Reluctantly, she filled her cup with water and then looked inot it. It was a little green in her opinion, and filled her with disgust. Pouring it on it the bush nearby, she decided to use a little magic. Evaporating water into her hand and then pouring it back into the cup, she managed to solve her hygiene issues. Ho hum.

    Arthurus was busy stirring crushed tea leaves in the boilign water, when she heard a vivacious but stubborn growl. She dropped the cup of tea which went rolling down the slope. Looking at the volcanic mountain, she gulped down heavily and eyed certain creatures swirl in the air. Was it dragons? Yes.

    Red dragons...no. Arthurus had her eyes fixed on them. They were hungry. And they were nearing in. Arthurus quickly grabbed hold of her staff and cast a spell, trying to heat up nad melt he ground so that she may construct a cave. (Not a good idea.)

    As Arthurus was almost done reddening the rock to a boiling point, she slipped a little. Extra adrenaline gushed into her hands which twitched, enofrcing magic into the wand. And kaboom. The volcano was ready to rock and roll. Arthurus grinned in guilt as the lava grunted and groaned, heated to a point of frustration. Dragons now came right at her, perhaps in retreat. She could use a flying carpet...but a dragon is a much more prized possession.

    She immediately shouted:
    "Abracust!"
    The obisidian and blue dragon fell to her command, allowing her to take a seat on the back. Arthurus felt proud this time. Luzare had a whole ranch of dragons, so they often trained, riding and taming dragons. Hopefully she still remembered the lessons. Blowing a whistle into the dragon's ear, it rose from it's stature and flew away just before a bolt of lava fell on them. Other dragons started attacking them, but Arthurus made use of her last ability and threw her orb into the air, summoning a heatwave. The light-sensitive dragons fly away, while her pet dragon made the best effort to come out of the sun. Arthurus patted the dragon's back as they landed on a remote cliff.

    "There, there, let me name you."
    Arthurus checked the dragon for bruises and wounds, and then confirmed the dragon's gender.
    "You lassie are such a prized authority for me."
    Arthurus laughed, as the dragon purred towards her. Then, eyeing her daunting eyes, she said:
    "I'll name you Horizon. Fair enough?"
    The dragon growled in a fulfilling tone, and Arthurus giggled once more and pulled out a map.
    "Before we go off again, I think I'll check out where we are. Hmm...we're far from Tioem mountains."
    She pointed a location on the map and then drew a tangent intersecting a location.
    "I believe we're behind them. Good. We can try the city of Lucifer for a night stay if needed. After a brief rest I think we'll move higher."
    She said out loud, as if the dragon knew what she said. And the dragon was equally kind enough to nod.

    Rodger woke before dawn the next day. His meager possessions already packed waited by the window. He knew he risked injuring himself by moving so soon after being wounded, but his theft couldn't remain hidden for long. It was risky even spending the night in the city.
    Silently he climbed out the window, letting his arms do most of the work. His legs didn't hurt but they were definitely weak.
    Once his feet touched ground he jogged lightly away from the building.

    Rodger was well away from the city by midday. He had been fortunate enough to find a farmer leaving the city after selling his goods at market. A single silver allowed Rodger to rest in the back of the wagon. It was slow going, but it was infinitely better then trusting his legs.
    They were heading into the highlands, which allowed Rodger a fine view, when the trees permitted, of the road behind them. As he looked down, a single rider rode into view. Rodger quickly calculated the distance in his head. The rider should reach them in a quarter hour.
    Excellent.
    He hopped off the slow moving wagon, waving a fond farewell to the farmer. Then he waited.

    The rider came into view, at a quick trot. The horse was small, built more for speed then power. Probably a messenger, Rodger thought. He left his staff by the rock he had been resting on, and walked to the middle of the road holding his arms out.
    The rider stopped, pulling a crossbow out and pointed it at Rodgers chest. "Get out of my way," he said.
    Rodger stepped out of the way, but spoke as he did. "I am from the mercenary band of Eric the Brown. I was ordered to warn travelers that bandits are infesting these woods. Eric is currently attacking their known camps but there could be fighting on the road. He doesn't want to risk losing any of the bounty because someone important was hurt in the fighting."
    The rider stared at Rodger, his finger caressing the trigger. "If you're a mercenary why aren't you fighting? You hardly seem like a messenger boy."
    "Very good eye, sir. I was injured in the last fight we had, my legs are still badly cut. Would you like to see, sir?" Rodger put his hands to his belt waiting to see what the man would do.
    "No need for that. You have warned me, I will be on my guard," the rider said.
    Rodger bowed, "Just doing my job sir. Do be careful."
    The rider rode past keeping an eye on Rodger who stood at the side of the road, keeping his hands in sight. The rider turned his head back to the road briefly.
    Rodger struck.
    He flicked his arm, letting his last throwing knife drop from his sleeve. Before the rider knew what was happening, the knife was in his back.
    The horse reared as the man spasmed in pain and fear, Rodger ran at the horse, and jumped. One hand grabbed the riders arm, his other grabbed his knife. With the grip, he pulled himself onto the back of the bucking horse.
    The rider was screaming in pain, and weakly tried to force Rodger off.
    Rodger pulled the knife out and plunged it into the mans back again. Then they were both thrown off the horse.
    The riders foot was stuck in the stirrup. Rodger jumped on the dead man, trying to keep the horse from bolting. He and the corpse were pulled over the ground, as the horse desperately fought to get away. But the combined weight was too much for it. Finally it stopped moving, merely rolling its eyes in fear.
    Rodger took it and the body back to his pack and went into the bushes to hide.
    After resting, he quickly stripped the plain brown horse of its bags, and anything that could identify it. He changed his bloody clothes leaving them and the body under thick bushes. A quick look through the message pouch revealed nothing of interest, only a few letters and a handful of coins. He took the money, took the food the rider had packed for himself, and all of his weapons.
    When he finally started on his way, the horse had only unmarked saddlebags, and could have belonged to anyone.

    Krinile was busy writing letters when Madeli broke into the office.
    "Yes?"
    Krinile said without looking up.
    "He left town."
    "Good, as expected."
    Krinile said, a wicked smirk dominating her face. She flipped the pages of her ledger, thinking good news was over.
    "And one more thing."
    Madeli added, and so Krinile nodded to allow her to speak.
    "Arthurus is on her way to Crustice Valley after the night stay at Lucifer. She has a pet dragon with her."
    Krinile's eyes shone like pearls. She closed her ledger, saying:
    "Good. Send this letter to the listed location, would you?"
    Madeli quickly took the letter, impressed enough. Her twin sister Marian would be waiting for her duty anyways.
    "And don't send Marian this time."
    "Fair."
    Madeli grinned, and slipped the letter in her side pocket. Fair. Yes...fair.

    Raekas landed on Maisa's shoulder as he was pouring non-alcoholic ale for his guests. Stunned to see another message, her quickly grabbed hold of it and read it well.
    "I see...but mom must learn immediately."
    He said out loud, and then called for Mercy, his teenage daughter.
    "Yes Daddy?"
    Mercy came running in, rubbing her eyes. The guests had chosen an awkward time to come. Midnight.
    "Can you locate someone for me, baby?"
    "Who, Daddy?"
    "Your grandma. You remember her face, don't you?"
    "Yes Daddy."
    Mercy readily postured her fingers, shutting her eyes aggressively. In a minute, she spoke out.
    "West of Crustice Valley. And moving."
    "Thank you, baby."
    Maisa scribbled another note, telling Rakaes:
    "This time - be faster than lightning."

    Rodger rode at a fast walk past the small villages and farmsteads that lined the road. A lone rider who didn't stop, or cause trouble, wouldn't be asked questions, or remembered clearly. Messengers, travelers and bounty hunters used this road frequently enough that they were only noticed if they acted suspiciously.
    He wondered idly, how long it would take for the messenger to be missed, and his body found. Hopefully it would be at least a day. That would allow him enough time to disappear properly.
    Maybe he could meet with another traveler. He needed more money and a spare horse.

    ***
    Sir Dennis read the paper on the desk. "You're sure about this?" he asked the man before him.
    "I am m'lord," the man said. "Sir Rodger is the thief. He has stolen several hundred gold pieces worth of jewelry in the past year. At least half of it from members of your family."
    "I want his head," Sir Dennis said firmly. "Place a bounty on him for 100 gold pieces. Don't let them know who's money it is, just make sure the word is passed along."
    "At once m'lord," the man said bowing low.

    Luzare listened contently what the messenger had to say. He had already had this announcement on his mind. Alas, even knowing did was of no use. His dumb ex-wife had to butt in all the time.
    ******
    "HELP!"
    Arthurus screamed helplessly, her melodious voice echoing like a dying lion's last cry. Luzare grinned and moved her even closer, saying:
    "I'm not here for you. I'm here for the man."
    "What man?"
    Arthurus asked, completely stunned.
    "That man traveling with you! I need him."
    Arthurus shook her head in false vanity and said:
    "It's my life now, Luzare. My choice which man I spend time with."
    "Oh stop it! I know you're not the kind. Look, here's what's happening. I had a vision. A thief noble, who should be traveling with you, is going to be tracked down soon. Other than the money, the noble's young maiden is most bewitching."
    Arthurus shook ehr head, at which Luzare came to compromises.
    "I'll give you the money. Just...give me the man."
    A knife struck his back.
    "Why you little..."
    Luzare growled, exerting pressure to grab hold of Arthurus again. In a mild whisper, he said:
    "The fun part is - his father is that ex-blacksmith."
    Arthurus tried to hide the surprise and thought of the present. Arthurus wasn't the typical country girl who'd let a man take advantage of her again and again. She kicked in his stomach, this time confident in herself. Although, she kept tihnkign abotu this man. If she found him - she must kill him. One, to save him from Luzare and two - the curse. She had cursed his father a long time ago that his son...well, just assuming the worst. Curses said under the moonlight are always turned true if by magicians. Great.
    ******
    Luzare had his weapons ready. He knew where he was heading. He had had another vision. Here I come, big guy.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    "Are ye sure ye wouldn't like to stickk around lass? For another couple of days at least, to heal your wound more properly."
    Eirian shook her head as Rafiro followed her to the stables. "I have waited too long as it is. I cannot wait any longer."
    A twinge in her side reminded her that Rafiro was probably right in staying longer. But they had rested for three days. Two days too long. She had even sent Rahania ahead.
    Eirian knew that it wouldn't be much longer before a messenger would come and alert Rafiro of two murderers, that may have come this way. Of course Rafiro would of hid them well but.. she coulnd't risk them getting summoned before the king for harbouring criminals.
    Ares snorted his head and shook it up in down as Eirian approached. She reached over the stall door to pat his nose. Closing her eyes, she inhaled deeply. The stable had only just been mucked out, still was in the early dusk light. Fresh straw was being forked into each stall, oats and water sloshed into tubs.
    "Why can you not wait?" Rafiro queastioned again.
    "I have to complete a job and I am late enough as it is." Erian opened the stall door and Ares walked himself out. Despite the nice dry shelter, all the food he could eat, he wanted out. He was a free spirit.
    "Stay." Rafiro said as Eirian covered Ares with his saddle blanket. He pulled the saddle off the side of the stall where it was kept close in case it was needed. He grunted as he threw the saddle on Ares then set about doing all the straps up. Ares turned his head and looked at her, like she was being the dumb stupid human for not letting herself heal.
    Rafiro ushered her to a nearbye bench. "Sit," he turned around, "LIAM!" his voice bellowed loud enough that Eirian was sure that she heard the snow caps rumble in warning.
    Seconds later, Liam ran into the stable, his feet kicking up dirt. Funnily enough, the areas around the inn were free from snow most of the time. It rarely fell here making Eirian wonder if it was some sort of spell that Rafiro had cast.
    "Go get Eirian's things. And ask yer ma to make up a food pack!" He shouted as Liam turned on his heel and bolted back to the inns kitchen.
    "I'll get Ares tacked up soon enough lass and then you will be on yer way."
    Eirian sighed. "I don't really have a choice Rafiro. I have commitments. But apart from my wound, why so insistant?" She asked.
    Rafiro paused for a moment before slipping Ares bridle over stallions head. "Trolls and goblins have been spotted nearbye."
    "Trolls? Goblins? This far south? Don't they stick to the north?" Eirian frowned. Maybe it was something to do with the dragon pearl. Damn it. The pearl was probably a curse to the land enough as it was.
    Rodger lay nestled in the hay. A few silver had gotten him a warm barn, his horse looked after, and a meal with promise of breakfast early the next morning. The only problem were his legs. Some of the cuts had reopened in the fight. He had bound them up again, but they still hurt. His legs were also cramped from the exertions of the day. He should have waited longer before traveling.
    Groaning softly, he gingerly massaged his legs, trying to avoid the worst of his wounds.
    Arthurus was exhilarated for the day. She was more than willing to get going and discover new horizons of her mission. Yes, she was really hopeful. Tying her hair into a thick braid, she preapred herself for a lenghty trek far west. If only the dragon would be faster. She had tried to wake Horizon serveral times, but the lassie was snoring wildly.
    Tearign through the windy plains, she gave a final call to Horizon:
    "Get up otherwise I'll turn on the sun!"
    However, Arthurus was quite shocked to see a eagle picking on her dragon. The obsidian dragon roared in danger, blowing fire onto the eagle, which luckily survived. The eagle dived towards Arthurus, showing her a letter in his claws.
    "I wonder!"
    Arthurus thought to herself, and saw the seal of the army on it. She quickly tore open the letter, and read through it. The letter slipped out of her hands, floatign with the wind. Raekas shouldered her, with the dragon purring out in disdain.
    Arthurus had never felt so powerless. Or hopeless. Never. Her feet trembled as she moved back inside the hut. She had never thought her desire to do something for the people would result in such dire consequences. She looked at herself in the pond once more. She was incomplete without Revianne. Alas, this was what remained.
    Her sight became very blur when she saw another face in the pond. Indeed she didn't want him here.
    "Luzare?!"
    "Yes, yes, M'Lady. You look upset. Lost your love?"
    "Get lost. It's none of your business."
    "Actually, it is."
    Luzare pulled Arthurus by her hair, demanding:
    "Tell me where Rodger is."
    "I don't know!"
    "You liar. Last time you were saved but not anymore!"
    "I swear, I don't know! Leave me!"
    Arthurus tried to struggle, and Rakaes pinched Luzare at which he stabbed the eagle, tearing his chest. The dragon took another advance, at which he used his mirror to focus the sunlgiht on her. The dragon fell down, helpless.
    "Are you telling me or what?"
    "I said, I don't know!"
    "FINE. Have it your way."
    In midst of anger and passion, Luzare pulled out his sword and cut off Arthurus's arm, ending the attempt by cutting open her stomach. Arthurus fell behind, into the pond, turning it completely red. For once, Luzare felt afraid. Picking pace, he ran out of there as fast as possible.
    Rodger read through the notes as he rested by a small creek. If they were accurate, he had to head towards the South. Which would take him through some of the least civilized areas on the continent.
    What fun.
    He got back on his horse and started down the road again. Eventually he came to a small road that led into the Southern highlands. With one last sigh, Rodger turned down it leaving civilization behind.
    ***
    Two men trotted along the road. They were traveling light, with only some rope, small saddle bags and their weapons.
    They stopped as they came upon a small seldom used road that lead to the South.
    "Do you think he went that way?" one asked.
    "Naw. A noble wouldn't head to that place. No one to rob there. Lets keep going, we should catch up to him by the next town."
    They headed for the next town, dreaming of the large bounty that would be theirs.
    ***
    Ashton rode away from the small town. Lord Rodger had been through there. He hadn't stopped but he had been seen.
    As he traveled he thought of everything he knew about Lord Rodger. A thief. On a quest to find the Red Dragon Pearl. He had left the city injured despite orders. He had left in a hurry without informing anyone. No horse when he left the city, but a new horse now. A messenger had been killed not far away, his horse was stolen.
    This Lord was taking many risks. He must have gotten into some kind of trouble in the city, and was now fleeing. Where would he go? Staying in the realm would be too risky for a man like him. The best place for him to go would be to the South, trying to get lost in the wilderness, and come out in another city far away.
    If Ashton traveled quickly he could beat him to the nearest Southern town. The Noble thief, and murderer would be his.
    Weapons: Machete, Cross bow and Poison dagger.
    Armour: Light
    Occupation:
    Landform disruption (Can change the landform of any area, within her sight)
    Shape shifter (She can turn into an eagle, but in that state she can’t cast any powers except that to turn her back)
    Possessor (She can possess the soul of the victim she bites, for maximum a day, as long as they are not telekinetic)
    Sex: Female
    Personality: Unlike her sister Mercy, Kariv is a strong-willed and spirited personality who is never too shy or insecure to do anything. She is a bubbly girl who makes friends readily and loves to joke around, sometimes sarcastic and sometimes plain silly. She is immature, but no trouble ever worries her and she looks forward to all challenges. She believes in forgiveness and mercy deeply, and thus is a perfect representative of her name ‘Kariv’ – spark. She is very emotional and her anger is quite a torment. On the dark side, she is a dual personality and randomly at times she is possessed by a much colder and brutal side of her, ‘Virak’, meaning death.
    Appearance: Her face is quite innocent, but her voice is valorous and dominating.
