My all time favorite is Whose Line Is It Anyway. I haven't seen it on actual TV in quite a while, though... Thanks, Youtube.
Same here. Lost season 5 looks downright awesome. Have you seen the trailers they released? Man, it just reminds me how much I miss that show. And Dollhouse looks interesting, although Fox is placing it on Friday nights, which isn't really a good choice. The graveyard, I think they call that time.
Mine: Flight of the conchords Black books Black adder Gavin and stacey Nighty night Father ted The IT crowd Malcolm in the middle Two and a half men Family guy South park Buffy the vampire slayer The X files Aaaand i'm pretty sure ive forgotten a few that i love but i'll add if i remember. My boyfriend likes 'Dexter' but i reckon that's 'cos he secretly wants to be him Or his him. Most likely is him. Hahah.
Yeah, I might have missed a trailer or two, but pretty sure I've seen them all...season 4 was a return to form, and season 5 will only build on that with the elimination of flashbacks and focus on the present. We're so close, there's no way any of us lost fans have an excuse to quit now. Gonna watch the last 2 eps. of season 4 before, tho, to refresh myself. it's been far too long. oh and about Dollhouse...in an interview recently Joss said something like, Fox is being run by different people than it was back in the days when Firefly was on, and they are more willing to let a show gather viewers slowly than to just snuff it out like they did with Firefly. I don't trust fox a bit though...heard they're trying to take Watchmen out of theaters now. Sorry, unrelated. EDIT: Recently started watching Flight of the Conchords as well...it is brilliant, especially their interactions with their manager. Much funnier if you're also an amateur musician, though.
I agree. Fox can make some really bad decisions. Unfortunately, several of my shows come on that channel. And I'll just have to say that Lost is probably the most incredible show I have ever watched. The depth it has, and the sheer likeability of the characters, it's just so original and pulling and.... Ah, I can't wait for January 21.
I'm still irritated at the way Fox terminated Alien Nation. Not that they cancelled it, that happens all the time. But the abruptness of it ticked me off. It was very poorly handled.
Sci Fi Battlestar Galactica (New Version) Jericho Doctor Who Torchwood Jeramiah Babylon 5 Star Trek Enterprise (Went before its time) Highlander The Raven Other CSI: NY CSI: Miami The Shield Due South Ultimate Force Rescue Me Comedy Dead Like Me Frasier Catherine Tate Men Behaving Badly My Family Cartoon/Animated Thundercats Transformers (Generation One) X-Bomber Starfleet Visionaries G,I, Joe
America's Next Top Model (for Tyra Banks, she's so surreal and narcissistic I can't get enough) Lost The Office, US 30 Rock Project Runway Top Chef I prefer British shows (I'm American but my mom's English). The Office, I love Louis Theroux, I've seen the first couple seasons of Absolutely Fabulous, and Spaced.
I'm usually hooked on a lot of tv shows, but right now, they kinda form a short list : One Tree Hill Smaillville House The OC [ On Dvd]
Ooooh My favourites: Farscape Firefly Battlestar Galactica (RDM) Star Trek Deep Space Nine House Scrubs Black Books Stargate SG-1 Peep Show Dead Ringers Have I Got News For You Mock the Week CSI (all of them lol) Father Ted The Vicar of Dibley My Family And as Ashleigh mentioned, I do enjoy Dexter. Though I prefer the books. And since I missed the last couple of episodes of the first season, I'm a little confused. For anyone who has seen the first season: Spoiler Why is LaGuerta still alive??
LOVE Psych. Its one of my favorites. Besides Psych I also really enjoy.. Chuck House Dexter (missed all of the last season though ) Ghost Hunters The Unit (only because I get to watch it with my bf) So You Think You Can Dance CSI:Miami (its so bad, its good)
I tend not to watch much telly, and much of the stuff I watch is off DVDs, but I like to watch: Battlestar Galactica (RDM) Heroes (not so much this season though) Blackadder The West Wing Have I Got News For You QI Mock The Week Top Gear (occasionally, when bored) Doctor Who That's really about it.
Hey, cool someone else who likes Corner Gas. Sienfeld claimed to be a show about nothing. Corner Gas really is a show about nothing. They once had an episode about the new security camera, which turne dout to be a menace and they tore it down in the end anyway. I'm unemployed and out of school right now, so I have way too much time on my hands and keep the TV on for background noise even when I'm not watching it. But anyway, the shows that I actually pay attention to: Smallville House (he is awesome) Star Trek DS9 Two and a Half Men Little Mosque on the Prarrie Mythbusters (Adam is a perfect example of ADD turned into something good)
I have loads of shows that I watch - I don't go out much during the week so I sit and watch TV instead ... yea, healthy. Some of my favourites atm are: Emmerdale 'cos I'm like 100 Waterloo Road - a new series has started and I'm syked House 'cos Hugh Larie is like, the sex Scrubs - enough said And I was watching Desperate Housewives until the series finished. Now I'm waiting for the new series of Grey's Anatomy to start as Sky have bought it and I only have freeview
Was Dennie the one that died, aye? Cos that made me bawl my eyes out, I felt so sorry for her. I'm only on the series after that, my mate who has Sky says the one after the next one is starting soon, if that makes any sence.
Spoiler She didn't turn up at the place where they were, Dexter killed his brother, Deb doesn't know dexter is a killer, rita thinks dexter is a drug addict. On the whole though, I'm glad they deviated from the books (with that third book catastrophe, Jeff Lindsay spit on top of his fanbase). The lila arc and character are the best additions to the show. I highly recommend you watch those episodes you missed... They're pretty good. The only thing I wish is that the killer from the second book would make an appearance. And the third season is really good too, just finished watching it.
Aawww my little cutie all your shows are so nerdy heeheee. Just wouldnt be my matty without your sci-fi shows (Even though i actually like most of them) buutt Vicar of dibbs and father ted are excellent.
Pretty short list. I don't have much time to watch TV these days. NCIS - so freaking unrealistic, but that's what I love about it Scrubs Las Vegas - when I can catch in the mornings while I'm getting ready for work. Again, totally unrealistic, but still really funny. The Vicar of Dibley was hilarious, but then WTTW stopped running it and put that awful Mr. Bean show on in its place. Terrible!
