I tried really hard to like The Secret Life of the American Teenager. I thought it would be like Degrassi, only an hour long so it would be even more fun. But I just can't seem to like it. I keep watching it anyway. Go figure! (I think I should be embarassed by this post on a couple of levels..)
It's not a tv show, but a beloved childhood film. The AriiisstoooCats! *If you're smart you'll learn by heart what every artist knooowws...when you learn your scales and your arpeggiooooos*
You guys should check out Legend of the Seeker. Anyone heard of it? Comes on the weekends. Syndicated, though, so it's different for every region. Kind of a high fantasy based on the Sword of Truth books.
Doctor Who is one of the longest running series on television. It's a science fiction series that was targeted more toward children in the early 1960s, but is now a mature SF series. There have been a couple of periiods when it was not in production, but it stlll has hung in there pretty much for the last 40+ years. Very much worthwhile viewing!
Sorry, Ahem, I have to take you up on this, Cog, It is in fact THE Longest running Sci-Fi show of all time. And yes, it does beat Star Trek. Oh, and there have been four (Yes, four) new series in the last four years, along with Christmas specials and three more planned for this year.
I know that, but I believe it is one of the longest running TV shows of ANY genre. That is what I was saying. Somehow it manages to remain fesh nevertheless, this show thaqt began with Susan and her extraordinary time traveling grandfather. And yes, the TARDIS was always bigger on the inside than on the outside, although I don;t think it was until the Tom Baker days that we learned that even the control room is only a small part of the craft.
Yeah. But unfortunately it's beaten by the BBC news. I'm hoping the news gets cancelled due to poor ratings .
DELETE!!! EXTERMINATE!!! ANNIHILATE!!! Can't think of any other catchphrases other than "Would you lika a jellybaby?"
Don't forget: HEY, WHO TURNED OUT THE LIGHTS?... HEY, WHO TURNED OUT THE LIGHTS?... HEY, WHO TURNED OUT THE LIGHTS?... And the old standbyL KILL... KILL... KILL...
No. It would be quite a feat (Considering it's over forty years old.). You could probably get it straight away just by watching any of the last four serieses.
Most of the early episodes are unavailable anyway. Back then, the videotapes were often reused in the interests of economy. and also many episode tapes were simply lost. The first story arc, An Unearthly Child, I've only seen a couple episodes of. It was a very different show back then, and the existing tapes *black and white) are of pretty poor quality.
The BBC actually run a competition that says if you give in an authentic reel of a missing episode, you win a full size Dalek prop. Also, I have the first three story arcs on DVD. It's called "The Beginning" Boxset.
House Smallville The Simpsons (re-runs) Futurama Law & Order Also didn't mind The 4400 when they showed it.

OMG,, lots of shows to watch. I get annoted when I have to tape half of mine. Oh, and I am all excited 'cos a new series of Waterloo Road started last week. It was all tense and that, one of the new lads had a gun
I'm glad, personally. It's been a shining gem of a show, against a backdrop of mediocre programming, and I'm glad that the producers have decided to have a destination and stick to it, rather than continuing on until it develops rigor mortis, like so many other shows. That's one of things I've always liked about BSG. It's always seemed to know where it's going, rather than just wallowing around. But I need to know who the final cylon is!!!
