I watch too much TV, but the only tv program for me is peep show, i still remember the first time i came across it by accident...
So who else is obsessing over the upcoming LOST premier? Looking over the cast listings on imdb.com has proven to be very interesting and has only pumped me up even more. Two episodes in one night ... I don't think I can handle the anticipation!
Peep Show is genius!!! I love Mitchell and Webb! The thing about Lost, is that while the first couple of seasons were very good, after that they seemed to completely lose track of where they were going. At the moment, it just seems to be stumbling around in the dark, and as such I've completely lost interest.
Yeah, can't wait. Looks to be another rocking season. And Banzai...I kind of see what you're saying, but I'm confident, now that the writers have an end date in sight, that all the pieces will come together. Season 4 was clear evidence of that.
Actually, I think they've known what they were doing ever since Jack found Adam and Eve in the caves way back in Season 1. Damon and Carlton have mentioned that, by the end of the series, you would be able to look back and make the connection (I think it was in one of their podcasts). Either way, they're definitely not stumbling around in the dark.
Well they definitely seem to be. They've realised it makes money, and have just gone with it. Rather than a show like BSG which has always been moving towards a predetermined conclusion. Or maybe its just that I feel that the Lost writers have been taking the piss and I don't appreciate it.
Oh, I forgot about Adam and Eve... You think they might be Jack and Kate? You know, with the whole 'island going back in time' plot going on, there's a lot of possibilities opening up now.
While I think it's possible, it seems a little too obvious to be Jack & Kate, or Kate & Sawyer, or Ben & Annie. Besides, Jack touched one of the skeletons, and I feel like I remember Dr. Edgar Halliwax saying that the "time copies," for lack of a more appropriate term, are not supposed to come in contact with each other. Plus, it would be pretty cheap. I think Adam and Eve will be characters we haven't met yet, and probably won't meet until Season 6 or something.
You can blame the Writer's Strike for ruining season 3 of Prison Break. I'll admit, season 3 was lackluster, short with no direction, but season 4 has been incredible. Season 3 of Lost was kind of crappy too, but I think that was because they were stalling. After the finale, they announced a concrete end date for Lost, so now they're finally getting into the mythology and aren't beating around the bush, so to speak. And I've heard a lot about Battlestar Galactica. I've never seen it, but it sounds like a pretty good show.
It is, but make sure you watch it from the very beginning, because it is one long story arc, rather than episodic.
Agreed. I haven't seen any of the new eps because I'm still catching up. I just know I'll understand frak all about the new episodes if I don't see the backstory.
I'm so excited about Lost season 5! And yes, I did start to watch Battlestar Galactica (the first half of the miniseries. It seemed kind of slow to me, and I really didn't understand some of the characters. But it was pretty cool. I think I'm going to get the DVDs from Netflix and watch them instead of watching them in poor quality online.
Trust me. It picks up momentum extremely quickly. The third season finale is one of the best sequences ever made.
Quite a few shows out there that interest me. 24 Bones House Lost Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Pretty much anything on the discovery channel.
Finally, someone that watches Terminator. I really don't think it's as bad as most people make it out to be. Sure it doesn't have any of those big action sequences from the movies, but, come on, it's a tv show. They have a 'limited budget.' And it has some of the best drama I've seen in a long time.
The Colbert Report End of story. As for Terminator, I haven't seen the movies or the show so I can't really weigh in on that.
