    Comedy Movies, anyone?

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Dude_guy_yeah!, Aug 26, 2009.

I need some recommendations. I've been watching movies like Knocked Up, Superbad, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, I Love You, Man, Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz over the last few days, and I can't think of any more movies like them. So, please, someone, help!

Maybe not intentional comedy, but it sure is in there somewhere.

Take your pick of the Monty Python movies- Life of Brian is my favourite, but they're all brilliant.

But the funniest thing on tv, no doubt, is Toronto Maple Leafs 'hockey.'

I watched Road Trip 2 - Beer Pong on the weekend. Didn't have very high expectations but it turned out to be pretty funny!

Mal, I love you for this. That movie was really funny but it seems like only a few people have actually seen it.

I would suggest just about anything starring Leslie Nielson (Naked Gun 1,2&3, Wrongfully accused, Dracula: Dead and Loving It, 2001: A space travesty, and Spy Hard). Oh and ofcourse Airplane, it's a classic of the comedy genre.

I watched a movie a while ago which was called something like "Balls Out: The Gary Houseman Story". Something along those lines. It was brilliant haha

LOL so many people call me Mal...

Grandma's Boy is up there on my list of funniest movies I've ever watched, and you're right, it seems like a very short list of people have actually seen it. Very sad, because it's hilarious.

MP's Holy Grail is by far the funniest movie mankind has ever produced, bar none. I thought that was common knowledge.
