I don't know if any of you know what I'm talking about but...

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by ValianceInEnd, Dec 18, 2007.

Has anyone here seen the anime Berserk? I thought it was a really incredible mature dark-fantasy that I just fell in love with. Then, the very final episode ends on a cliff-hanger, with the only resolve being episode 1 which took place in the future. Since the company which made it ran out of money, it'll never be finished! Dark times, dark times indeed!
To anyone who has no idea what I'm talking about, you can either ignore this or lament about a show you loved which let you down as well.

I know what you are talking about.
I've only played the game though. Cause I know there was a game that came out for the Dreamcast.
    I played.
Is that what you are talking about?

Yeah, there is a game that takes place after the last episode of the show for dreamcast so I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. I guess there could be my resolution... sorta.

Then yes I've heard of it.
I liked the game it was fun to play it. But I haven't read the manga or watched the anime.
Sounds good though. Good and old.
Do you know where I could possibly fine both? The manga and the anime.

Hmmm, the manga could probably be at the manga section in a book store. The anime you could buy the dvds off the net or use veoh tv like i did.

No prob, always glad to point out good stuff to people. Just be sure that you can handle the extreme mature themes, which I'm sure you can considering you wrote a story about a serial killer. ;)

Yes I wrote a story about a serial killer.
And now I wrote a story about cannibals for the Short Story Contest. lol!
    Thats my thing.
I like reading stuff like that it gives me great ideas.

All the animes that I've seen aired on TV have always cut off at some point. =/

I thus now use the innovation of Veoh and when the situation demands it, YouTube.

Yes, veoh is the best for watching anime over the net. Stage6 used to be the best until they started taking everything off. Youtube is definetley the last resort.

I thought Veoh recently implemented a 20-minute policy where videos over that length could not be watched direct from the site. But now I tried seems to be fine, apparently they've extended it to 45 or something, eh.

    What animes/manga do you watch/read?
