Wait, I totally do. I CAN'T FRIGGING WAIT TILL I CAN POST MY STUFF YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY :))))))))))

    *clears throat*

Hello, my name is Oghenefejiro *insert confused face* but if I were you I'd stick with Fei :D I'm Nigerian. I just recently decided to try actually writing more than two chapters of anything. I started writing November last year as a kind of therapy-----> university sucks -_- I didn't used to take a lot of things seriously especially my writing but, what I'm working on atm is taking a lot of effort (or maybe just more effort than I'm used to expending) :p so I simply cannot wait to get it torn to shreds by the reviewers. I mean if I'm gonna sit up and do this, I wanna do it right. Its the weekend so I'm gonna be all over this. Its so great to be here and I can't wait to get started *go ahead, smile patiently* Y'all can pm me anytime. Wishing everyone a happy new year and the best of luck with their writing. Imma be late for classes so... Ciao

Oh, and I'm a girl ...or was it obvious?

Welcome Fei, from another girl :), though I'm not sure how it was supposed to be obvious. Good luck with your writing as well. I may be new to the forums as well, but I'd be happy to PM with you if you need anything.

    Welcome to Writing Forums, Fei!

I hope you find what you're looking for here, whatever your interests in writing.

This forum aims to provide the best workshopping resources on the internet, and to that end we have a few rules which you should familiarise yourself with before you get stuck in. The main section of the site is the Writing Workshop, where members can post their writing in order to receive critique of their work.

However, before we allow members to post their work, they must have met some basic requirements. Firstly, you must have been a member for fourteen days, and have made twenty posts on the forum overall (please note, posts in Word Games do not count towards this). This is so that members, when they post their work, have familiarised themselves with the forums and contributed to them (as well as hopefully learned something for themselves). Secondly, members must provide two constructive reviews of other people's work for each piece of their own that they wish to post. This is because we believe that the focus of workshopping should be equally upon giving reviews as receiving them, as they allow a writer to practice and improve their editing skills, which they can then apply to their own writing.

Beyond the Writing Workshop, you will find that we have extensive forums for discussion of aspects of writing, as well as a community area for general discussion. We also run periodic short story and poetry contests, which are good for challenging yourself and expanding your skills. The requirements of the Writing Workshop don't apply to the contests, so new members are allowed (nay, encouraged!) to get stuck in and enter!

If you have any questions or problems, then the moderators (myself, Lemex and Dante Dases) should be your first port of call. Any technical problems with the site itself should be directed to Daniel, the site administrator and owner. I would recommend you have a look over the rules so that you know what to expect, and what is expected. But aside from that, I hope you enjoy your time here.

Hi Fei Fei. No it was not at all obvious that you are a girl. RE university sucks ... please, if you are there and don't love it, I would suggest you reconsider your options. If writing is your passion, do it. Life is too short to waste our time doing things that suck. So I hope to get the chance to read what you write. You are from Nigeria. You must have many stories you can tell us, stories none of us have ever heard. Tell us a story that we'll remember.

    uh oh...

I'm mostly a fantasy writer and I've posted 3 of my stuff, feel free to check 'em out. While in one of them I added very little bits of my country, it doesn't really reflect my cultural background at all. I guess I could work on writing some stories closer to home since you seem interested, I've never tried it before.

You wouldn't understand, I can't not go to university especially if my parents can afford it, things don't work that way here. Maybe I will write a story. I appreciate the advice and I get that you mean well but if my parents even saw me online, typing stories? My life would be officially over, just fyi ;)

    OK I've written it.

Its not exactly a story, but its something. I titled it Fictional Reality, I'd love to know what you think.
