Sorry @gibble410, but you got a horrible burn mark on your hand, not a pretty Chinese symbol, lol. Vesuvia is made of fire and you touched her forehead. You got an insightful vision, but you still have to the pay the price for touching fire.

(Also, you don't really need the power to make energy shields if you can make barriers out of blue objects like you just did.)

Silhouette is going to have some choice words for Tim when they get to safety....after she gets some rest, though. A girl has to sleep.

Imagine how much more powerful Tim would be if he actually did things instead of running away all the time and hiding while everyone else did the hard work. But then again, I don't know what would motivate him to try.

Baring in mind that Tim's power is things turn out all right for him, running away is part of a way he ensures he doesn't die.

Yes, but that implies that Tim is intelligent, or motivated. He sees himself as more of a support person than an actual fighter.

 

Sorry guys, I had a long day at work today and really jave to go to bed. I'll try to post tomorrow morning before I Leave again, but the general gist will be something like him realising he made a mistake and part of the roof collapsing between him and Sapphire, making him unable to help her and him trying to get out of the building helping whoever he can reach.

Tim could have done a millions things to help without actually fighting Vesuvia. But he ran away. I know he's a coward, but...there's gonna come a time where Tim will have to act or die. I wonder what he'll do then?

 

One question about Tim's powers. It's luck, basically, right? How would he even discover his powers without taking risks? Presumably, the greater the risk, the more dramatic the application of his power.
Or am I stepping on a subplot here?

 

There's a diffence between choosing to take a risk and having one forced on you. I like to think of his power as being aware that he's got a certain level of plot armour.

 

He wouldn't happen to be the third and youngest son, would he?

Also, I just wanted to note that if Sapphire's broken bone was anything serious, you really want to have it looked at after walking with it out of a burning building, before falling asleep. Her fear of dying in her sleep is very realistic I happen to have broken my leg close to a year ago, so I was already surprised to see her walking at all and seriously sceptic when she fell asleep without any straightening of the bone and/or morphine, but then again, I did break both bones... and I'm not a fictional superhero.

I'm probably overthinking this, but just wanted to have it said

Erik-The-Echanter does take a while to respond to conversations, I don't know of he gets the notifications. But still, he'll reply.

 

And her ability to walk/sleep as of now, comes from I guess adrediline. And I guess from every superheros strength to get punched a billion times and still remain conscious.

 

We really ought to retcon the rp to get sapphire medical attention. Either from Mack, or someone in Steele's employ.

No side effects. It makes you feel super good, better than you felt before you got hurt. Just imagine how you felt on your best day and then times that by five.

EDIT: I'm also confused how 33 year old Sapphire is a "frightened young girl".
