I read a short text by titles shoes, in which a person goes to a shoe store and she after some time a lady that works there finally attends to her. Upon her asking to see a pair of shoes the lady laughs and says something along the lines of "you can't afford these" and so the customer decides that she will ask to try all the shoes in the store that are her size and then buys non...... besides the base of what the story was about there was also a bit at the bottom saying that one of the first films this writer wrote was about the struggles of being a woman and being black or something..... anyone know any stories titles shoes that may fit this? thank you also looking for a story titled something similar to two solitudes and one slapshot but not so important
