Two questions: 1. What do the parasites look like? I've read the description of those infected. But what do the parasites in the sacs look like? And how do the beegees react when they are shot or wounded there? Do they just fall down dead, are they freed, etc. 2. When does this start?
1. The parasites are your general nasty worm-like parasite that wriggles around. The Beegees will notice that they've been shot and fall down, but they'll get back up at you with the same strength and speed as before. Only shooting the sac will take them out. 2. I was hoping soon, but it might be another week due to the fact that I will be gone all next week. Sorry. :redface:
Hello everyone-- I literally found the dicsussion thread about two minutes ago. I'm pleased to see that we have one...in my experience with RPGs a healthy discussion leads to a healthy storybook. If anyone sees a problem or has a comment about my character profile, please feel free to let me know. My characters are very fluid for the first few posts; it is my experience that one does not truly know their characters until they've written for them. Glad to be here. --ME
Soo, if you're leading the tribe and you're gone for two weeks, what should I have Galchiox do? I was thinking just train and stuff but he would probably have to take orders from the big man.
^Again, what Shadow said. Please just be sure you have him act accordingly. You, Flake, and Ego ought to get together and plan what STFU will do with the Beegee invasion. Try not to die of course.
If no one objects, I'll be having Vinny and Vanderpool, along with the current crew of STFU, (5 total in the jeep, yes?) Take the call from Hobbes and run a rescue mission. Gonna have to wait to post, though. Work calls. --ME
Quick question: is it common practice to *not* write dialog for other Player Characters? I noticed the three new pages of one liners yesterday and was just wondering if that's how it's supposed to be done. In past forums I've attended, authors merely worked together to form one or two longer posts, rather than trading back and forth. Thanks in advance! --ME
If you want to can work with the other person to write dialog, or you can just write you're part and wait for the other persone to respond. But try not to have too many one liners. Like describe the enviroment, give you're character a mannerism, or say how they just said their line.
Announcement from the assistant GM. While Valience is away I'll control Mr. Black and the important Beegees. Also, will you guys please post when you get the chance to. Have your character explore the city, fight a few of the Beegee scouts, talk to each other, anything. This game feels like its dying right now and I don't wan't that to happen. Do we have any sort of plan as to the plot line of the RPG, as a whole? My tentative plan is to have Vinny, Van, and the other three STFU Members in the jeep come to the aid of Hobbes and Malich. Once the threat is dealt with, the seven men would return to STFU HQ to re-arm and to formulate a plan of action. What did everyone else have in mind? --ME
I'm not sure if this is what Valience had in mind, but I plan to have the invasion happen in three waves. The first one is lead by Commander Lillian and is moslty just to scout. The second wave will have elite commando's led by General Lye. The third wave will be led by the Queen. This is the wave where all hell with break loose. To win the game, we must kill the queen. I'll have to run this part by Valience but I plan to have the lives of all of the parasites to be linked to hers. We kill her, all of the beegees die. When the other teams start to get more active, I'll give them some challenges.
