Hello! First of all, sorry if this is in the wrong section. Second of all, this is going to reference adult themed content! I don't want to put off anybody or offend anyone, so please go back if you don't want to read about that. Now! Straight to the problems and the questions. Just to clarify, I already know how domain names, website software and webhosting all work. And I'm also not interested in 'free' websites like Weebly, Blogger, Tumblr or Wix, etc. I want to host a portfolio website, a blog, an ebook shop site or something similar where I can link to my facebook, deviantart, smashwords page and my free stories page, list all of my work, announce any up coming ebook releases, all that fun stuff. (I might go with Word Press.) Now, I try to keep my one on one interactions and non-story material PG-13 and friendly. But all my story content is 18+ because it's all erotic and almost always LGBT themed, because that's the niche I chose. I have no idea what website hosting company I should use. I think I might settle with Host Gator if push comes to shove, but I want to be flexible with any other options. I'm willing to save as much money as necessary to have a decent website up, but with in reason. I just want a website hosting company that is the following: - Allows sexual reading/artwork material to be displayed and/or distributed - Allows links to other websites where drawings of semi-nude characters in suggestive acts are displayed - Allows links to other websites where free stories that are 18+ are on display - Allows ebook commerce - Allows adult themed content to be discussed - But is NOT a pornography website or offers unnecessary extras I do write some short stories who's sole purpose is to be a pleasurable read, but don't SELL Pornography grade stories. I put effort into my marketable ebooks. I just hook readers in with the free, steamy short stories. I don't need video streaming or video support. I only need a website host that has all it needs to support a wordpress blog with links to 4 different other sites, (facebook, deviant art, smashwords, free-short-story-site,) a blogging section for announcements and other tidbits, and two other pages for an About section and a Legal section. I could probably do this in Tumblr. But I want that satisfaction of owning my blog/website. To own something I'm in charge of and something that I can change as I need too. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
