    Nerves nerves it serves
to the point of no return
    guzzling down the Sauterne
    Oblivious with all it's curves

    Transplant my desire
    burning from a crown fire
Cracks string down Splits bring down
    Septic smell to the core
    Could someone still wash ashore
Save me from the hell before
as i am left on the stone floor..
all that is left from a cold war
is shattered flesh, glass and ice

    Jenga

I was caught in that peculiar space
    Between progress and regression
    When the leaning tower wobbled
And from the base I watched
My life's work swaying in the wind
Like a horrid game of Jenga
Part of me wanted to watch it topple
    That ragged mess I'd built
    Those mislaid bricks
    The faulty mortar
And the way my builders unionized
    Against my poor administration.
This breakdown could be a chance,
I thought, for me to do it right this time
To find new friends who understood
    Each dark corridor
    Every hallway
    Every room of me
    And loved each brick
    But alas!
When my life came crashing down
And the rubble blocked the sun
My so-called friends all ran for cover
While dust and pain and solitude
    Engulfed my weakened mind.

    The Rage

I capture the thought and hold it between
my splintered fingers, never knowing if I'd
have the courage to let it linger beyond
the few moments I surrender to the
    rage. The weight begins to
    fracture, to wake the
    girl who has never
    slept, to wake
    her up, and
    watch her
    break.

    The Night Before

Awake, you weigh the deep familiar night.
You recognize the darkness by its shades
That blend together with your common fright
To set in motion all your day’s charades.
But something’s wrong, as ever it shall be,
As long as you restrict the very thing
That needs to feel itself now flowing free.
Instead, you fuss about your napkin ring.
You’re paranoid, the only one to know
The code. Your every natural feeling’s hacked.
You’ve lived too long on forcing down the flow
To power up your high-strung balance act.
Your light’s a dribble, still you fear to drown
Feeling your dam of darkness breaking down.

    Breakdown for Me

Blue you see it flow in your veins
Red they say, but hey, that’s not what I see
Eating your faith, driving you insane
All is an illusion, illusions are real
Kingdom innocence from where we fell, down with the rain
Down with your sickness and all of me
On a virgin land we grew as lakes of shame
Waiting for the children to feed
Newborns quenched their thirst the same
For I failed to change, I failed my seeds
Oh how I wish to erase the stain
Resting on your forehead, hate is what it reads
Maybe I should have never gone down with the rain
End my suffering my child, stand up, and face the wind

    Never breakdown like me.

    Meltdown

    Adolescent Innocence develops to

    Suffocating depression engulfing

    Like
    A
    Tidal
    Wave

    Breaks your heart.

    Black Infectious emotions drowning me

    Like Tar filled Lungs.

Believable lies spun in a vicious web.

    Tearing at my mind,

    Vultures circling the dead

    TAKE your Pity

    Take your Patronising hate

    RAM it up

    YOUR

    Designer Ass's

See how much you can take.

    Forge a smile,

    Force a lie.

I'll swallow it down with pride.

    Love me yesterday,

    Hate me Tomorrow

    BUT leave ME alone TODAY!!!
