    Perfect moment of Love

If i have to wait until im old and grey,
And only get to kiss you once,
But hear you say i love you too.
    Ill die happy and complete.
All i want is to hold you close,
And feel your heart beat in time with mine.
Our souls will join and become one as they should have done long ago.
I live to make you laugh and see your smile,
You are my soulmate and forever will i be here,
If you ever feel the same call upon me and together our lives will be spent together.
In love and happiness we will grow old together.
this perfect moment will last forever, with love and happiness i will fly to the heavens in Perfect bliss.

This may seem random but I thought I'd give it a try. ENJOY!!!!

    In that Perfect Moment

In that perfect moment nothing mattered,
No-one else in the world mattered, just me and you,
    Locked in our warm embrace,
    Just us, face to face.

In that perfect moment, no-one else cared,
    No prying eyes, disapproving looks,
The two of us could only win,
Then a new moment will begin.

    A Perfect Moment

    It is hard to see,
    What lies ahead,
    Tears and rain,
    Or incredible bliss?

    We seek our Edens,
    Through our lives,
    Flowers bloom,
    But time withers by.

    One needs some hope,
    From deaths dark sting,
    Where is it found?
    What will it bring?

    There'll be a time,
    Of perfect peace,
    People in wonder,
    Awe and reverence.

    But I further seek,
    For a greater gift,
    An endless moment,
    Of life to live.

    Trenches
    In silence we rest.
    Inner most utterings,
    torments demons in dark expressed.
    And the moon casts shadow
    Solemn, silk and sallow.
One perfect moment seems far away from here.
All thoughts of our enemy quiver and clear.
    Diggers become only mates,
    initiating conversation
    puffing on smokes,
    pauses due to verbal constipation
    Then it’s on again!
When it doesn’t rain it pours
and the men are killed in war ravaged scores.

    Tragedy and Travesty

    Too long he’d been waiting,
    lying, laying in the shadows
    of the mountains: undefined
    monuments of his evils.

    Trees rustled with the whispers
of summer wind, and he cast
    them aside, the words of
    concerned friends.

    Finally a perfect moment
    in a life of torment.
    His yoke and chains disintegrated
    with newly-discovered laughter and love.

    What a tragedy
    to befall a travesty:
how he spoke one true word
    in a lifetime of lies,
how he was blind for years
    before he could finally see.

    And who was this man?
    This man was me.

    the perfect moment

    time doesn’t wait
    for the perfect moment.
    it rolls steadily on,
like a ball, on the side,
of a road, in a gutter,
    on a hill, toward a
    rain drain grate...

    each revolution
of that ball in the gutter
    marks an image of
    a minute misspent.
    another instant,
    the perfect moment
    eludes us once again.

    you glimpse the
    moment the movement masks
as the ball rolls relentlessly on
    gathering visions,
    glorious dreams
    like wet leaves stuck,
like a fool to a scheme,
it’s there and then it’s gone.

    we reach and we crawl!
    we grasp and we claw!
at the ball spiraling ever down.
    receding away,
    proceeding always,
    towards the
    rain drain grate...

    where it drowns.

    The moment was perfect,
    so I let it pass.
    Now, looking back,
    I feel like an ass.
