Hi; I'm in the process of rewriting my novel that I wrote over four years starting when i was 15, obviously it has huge traces of juvenile sensiblity and what seems to be a bad Jackie Collins rip off, however I can't seem to get myself motivated to write, anyone got any ideas!!!

Instead of trying to revive the old novel, maybe you'll feel more inspired with a fresh project.

You could start by creating a new character and a scene you've been itching to do something with, and just start writing from that. Maybe that won't turn out to be novel-worthy, but it might start ideas flowing and shake the rust out of the old wrtiner's quill.

I'm moving this to Writing Issues -> General Writing/

Thanks for moving it, and thanks for the advice... as it happens I do have several other projects on the go and I can't feel inspired to write anything at all.
