    Plans for Halloween?

Discussion in 'The Lounge' started by Snoopingaround, Oct 26, 2011.

It's just around the corner. Do you guys have anything mischevious or terror-inducing planned for Halloween? Maybe a party, or an event, or perhaps something more unique? I remember hearing on the news about something called zombie chases or something along those lines in which participants get together and play zombies and survivors and do some kind of tag game. Or maybe it was called zombie parties. Anyway, zombies sure do seem to be getting more and more popular lately.

Haunted Houses. I hear they are fun, but I have limited experience with those. I have been to one, at Hollywood Sudios theme park, but it was a long time ago back when I was a lad, and I don't remember being scared at all. You know, I think some rich guy, one of those multi-billionaires, should come up with something really scary for people to go through. There should be conceived and created some huge complex of horror to test the nerves and inspire fear in people. I am thinking along the lines of a labyrinthine horrorplex designed to scare the holy beejesus out of folks. It could be a huge, gothic-style palace with steel bars and concrete reinforcement blocking off any possible escape once entered. The particpants would have to navigate through a massive maze-like complex in order to find the exit, fending off hunger, fear, and dangerous mechanical traps in the process. The environment inside would be designed to be dark and scary to the max, and no outside light or influence would be allowed to come in, creating a terrifying atmosphere about the whole situation. There would be opportunity for teamwork though, and challenges and puzzles in place that need to be solved. They would have to find keys buried underneath real human remains, for example, and masked lunatics from mental institutions would be unleashed in the corridors and hallways carrying weapons like sharp knives tied to their arms (attached to their strait jackets). Hmm...that would probably lead to some lawsuits though, so this whole concept could be tough getting off the ground. But it is just something I was thinking about. What if there really was a "ain-t-no-joke you could really die or get seriously injured super haunted house hyper maze complex". Hmm..what do you guys think? Oh, and what are your plans for this upcoming Halloween?

Guess no one is a fan of Halloween; for me it's a bit risky, around here, it's prime time for a good egging or other hooligan shenanigans. When I lived in a better neighborhood, I remember people really getting into it; decorations, candy and all that good stuff.

Not much, have my girlfriend down Saturday and be glad I am not on duty this weekend. Halloween night is a gang initiation night a lot. The newbie’s have a razor blade and they have to draw someone’s blood.
Then there is all the students taking advantage of Bronx bars not carding. So I am thinking it will be a mess for the people on duty as usual.

My favourite holiday is Halloween :) Nothing can be compared with this feeling of fairytale, this magic and creepy atmosphere. It's so exciting! I would be so great to play some games connected with this day. I've been surfing the net for a while and I had found this game called "Halloween Fortune". Here is a basic information (software provider, main category, min/max bet, etc.) about this kind of game, list if best casinos where you can try to play it... It seems pretty nice, but I'm still hesitating about casino... Which one exactly should I choose? Have anybody already tried it? Any advices?:)
