I thought you were questioning the film :O but i see you've put that (and downfall) as your favourites so shock over. I've only seen the directors so I really can't say, but I found it captivating. Also why is it questionable that that would be my favourite film? - cos I'm a girl :p

All enjoyed pretty much equally. Not in this order. Just that I gotta start somewhere.

    The Aurora Encounter
    The Doors
    Jesus Christ Superstar
    Tank Girl
    The WIZ
    Replacement Killers
    Hardboiled (Hong Kong)
    Lord of the Rings (Bashki-cartoon)
    Let it Ride (Richard Dryfuss)
    The Secret Garden
    Close Encounter's

    These are all good ones.

Questionable because no one but my father has ever heard of that movie.
And I'm a girl too, so it's doubly shocking. =P

Das Boot is miles better than U571.. What a horrible movie that was.

I think some people will think Tommy Boy is the best movie ever and others the Godfather. Neither is wrong and makes for great conversation!

What about some of the great classics:
    The Maltese Falcon
    Casablanca
    The Thin Man
    The Sound of Music

I never cared much for Citizen Kane though,

Casablanca is such a classic. Can't forget the African Queen either.

Hands down my favorite movies are Pirates of the Caribbean 1 through 3.

I love everything about them. The music. The action. The romance. The handsome actors.

I watched 'Jean de Florette' and 'Manon des sources' this weekend; I meant to watch these movies for some time, but I didn't get a chance to. These are two parts of a same story by the way.

OMG, this is a great great tragedy ...
