XIII Samurai: Recreate Summary XIII Samurai: Recreate is set in the year 2285 and disease has overrun the globe, the main character Kiyoshi is infected and cryogenically frozen for a future cure. Weeks after his freezing World War V begins and atomic bombs, missiles are being launched and all citizens are resorting to anarchy. 3 years after the beginning of WWV all races are on the brink of extinction, it is at this time when the ancient being of destruction is awakened, the dragon Kiki. He destroys the universe with one attack and at the precise moment of annihilation time stops and rewinds to the very beginning, taking Kiyoshi with it. Kiyoshi awakens 20 million years after dinosaurs and 20 thousand years after dragons in his cryogenics chamber; this is when he meets Kumiko, an elven princess who adapts the wind. She takes Kiyoshi to the inn where she is staying and he meets Sakura, an atlantian ninja who adapts the water and Ryuu, a human samurai who adapts the flames. After meeting these three characters they set off to Asuka’s house, which is who they are working for. With her druid magic she reveals that Kiyoshi is the reincarnation of the era and the benevolence, the two deities destined to destroy Akuma, the king of undeath and Kiki, the planetary destructor. Kiyoshi sports a birthmark in the shape of the ying yang, the line between light and dark being era, the light being benevolence and the dark being malevolence. It is then decided that Kiyoshi joins the Kitsune Mercenaries to bring peace and prosperity to Therah. Hours after leaving Asuka they are attacked by a gaeleg and Kiyoshi is struck down, this is when they meet Kazuki, a neciant. After his mother’s death he joins them on his quest to fulfil his mother’s dream, infuriated, his father cuts him down the face as a sign never to return to the neciants. As they continue with their journey they come across other characters that all join for different reasons. Akane, an amatsu-kami queen; she joins to repay her debt to Kiyoshi. Daichi, a tauronim who adapts the earth; he joins to protect the youth. Hiroshi, an elven daemon slayer; he joins to save his twin sister from Takahiro. Yukiko, a human assassin; she joins for the fortune they hold. Akemi, an atlantian healer; she joins to watch over Sakura. Akira, an atlantian sage; he joins to find and kill the one responsible for his home’s destruction. Chiyoko, a tauronim berserker martial artist; she joins so that she can encounter foes more powerful than herself. Yasu, an elven bounty hunter; she joins to rescue Emi from Takahiro. All up there are 3 humans, 3 elves, 3 atlantians, 2 tauronim, 1 neciant and 1 amatsu-kami in the Kitsune Mercenaries. Before Akuma and Kiyoshi fight, Akuma reveals that he is in fact Kiyoshi’s ancestor, Takahiro Akimoto. Kiyoshi must then make the ultimate decision, either kill Takahiro and risk self-sacrifice, or let him live and continue to bring chaos and destruction to Therah.
XIII Samurai: Recreate Characters of the Kitsune Mercenaries 1. The Hero of Therah Kiyoshi Akimoto-Human The main character of the story destined to save Therah from the very first evil, using two katanas in case one is lost in battle; Kiyoshi is a conservative and brave type of person who likes to think things through before acting realising that safety is the best way to get things done. He later obtains the gauntlets of the malevolence and the benevolence and the katana of the era, him being these three deities; he is the only being that can wield them without destroying himself. 2. The Flame Dragon-The God of the Flames Ryuu Takemoto-Human A character of the story destined to save Therah from planetary destructor Ki Ki, using two katanas he only wields both if the situation calls for it; Ryuu is an arrogant and stuck up type of person who sees true power only being obtained through equal training. He later obtains the katana of the flame, him being the deity; he is the only being that can wield it without destroying himself. 3. The Princess of the Wind Kumiko Tatsuya-Elven A character of the story destined to rule over one of the most powerful races, using a bow she only strikes when needed and if the opportunity arises; Kumiko is a quiet and caring type of person who sees death as unnecessary and unwanted. She later obtains the katana of the wind, her being the deity, she is the only being that can wield it without destroying herself. 4. The Child of the Water Sakura Taihei-Atlantian A character of the story destined to bring glory to her people, using shruiken and kunai knives she is precise and deadly; Sakura is a loud and annoying type of person who shows her colours in a fight, she sees her friends as her family and will do anything to keep them safe. She later obtains the katana of the water, her being the deity, she is the only being that can wield it without destroying herself. 5. The Protector of the Lost Kazuki Kiyomizu-Neciant A character of the story destined to protect Kiyoshi at all costs, using a tai ha he will only kill with one part of himself; Kazuki is a serious and determined type of person who will survive and succeed at all costs. 6. The Giver of the Life Akane Nagata-Amatsu-kami A character of the story destined to rebuild civilisations and fall in love with Takahiro, using twin chinese broad swords she will kill anything standing in her way; Akane is a strong and driven type of person who sees honour as the only thing worth keeping. She later obtains the katana of the life, her being the deity, she is the only being that can wield it without destroying herself. 7. The Defender of the Earth Daichi Kawamoto-Tauronimian A character of the story destined to pave the path for Kiyoshi to follow, using a battle axe he will defend anyone who is not strong enough to defend themselves; Daichi is a kind and sacrificial type of person who will sacrifice himself to allow the younger generation to thrive. He later obtains the katana of the earth, him being the deity, he is the only being that can wield it without destroying himself . 8. The Daemon Slayer Hiroshi Tashiro-Elven A character of the story destined to put to rest the evil within Kiyoshi, using a naginata he is not afraid of getting into the fray with a daemon but doesn’t like it with other fights; Hiroshi is a rude and obnoxious type of person who sees himself as the best looking guy in Therah. 9. The Fur Assassin Yukiko Ohayashi-Human A character of the story destined to achieve great power and wealth, using a wire weapon she hates getting dirty in a fight; Yukiko is a highly materialistic and deceiving type of person who thinks of money as the only motivation to fight. 10. The Nature Healer Akemi Akiyama-Atlantain A character of the story destined to become permanent caretaker of Sakura, using a heavy sword she doesn’t like to fight but when she does she fights hard and without mercy she will heal anyone with her nature magic; Akemi is an extremely kind and giving type of person who will heal those in pain as she believes that no-one should have to suffer. 11. The Blinded Sage Akira Ishibashi-Atlantian A character of the story destined to be the downfall of Tekken, using a magically enhanced staff he will stop at nothing and no one to achieve great power; Akira is a cruel and sadistic type of person who thinks of other sentient beings as being inferior to himself. 12. The Tauronimian Berserker Chiyoko Ishikawa-Tauronimian A character of the story destined to save Minoru and adopt him as a brother, using gloves with ball bearing enhancements she enjoys a good fight and searches for any and all chances to fight anyone and anything; Chiyoko is a proud and stubborn type of person who will not give up easily. 13. The Electric Bounty Hunter Yasu Arata-Elven A character of the story destined to kill Emi, using a double-bladed short sword she will not put up with any kind of corruption, criminal behaviour or injustice; Yasu is a law abiding and intolerant type of person who will imprison anyone who breaks a law. She later obtains the katana of the lightning, her being the deity, she is the only being that can wield it without destroying herself.
