I don't have any 'more important work.' I'm currently working on a fantasy novel, a fantasy novella, a romance novella, an erotic short story and a horror series. I just kinda jump around from one to the other depending on my mood.

My projects have always been fantasy, just because that's how my mind works. It has only been recently, though, that I began taking an interest in horror, and I have read so many romance novels over the years, since I was a teenager, that I could probably write a romance, too. In fact, in addition my fantasy/horror, I also have three romance novellas in the process.

Currently working on short stories set in a alternate future of our world. So sci fi with elements of steam punk and fantasy. Yeah I know it sounds like a mess.

Post-apocalyptic lesbian romance with elements of adventure and heroism. Is that even a genre?

    Guys, seriously.

If the primary purpose of your story is to scare your readers, it's horror. To titillate, romance. Pure make believe? Fantasy. Speculative? Sci fi. Intrigue? Crime/ thriller. Drama? General fiction.
